Wanna Be A Balla ::Lil Troy:: |

I got back from sectionals at around midnight, and was too lazy to update this, so I figured I'd do it now.
I left school around 1:45 and began the drive to College Station. We had to go through all these little quaint towns, so that was cool. We stopped in Rockdale to use the bathroom, and we were only in there 5 minutes, but we came out smelling like smoke. We tried to cover it up with perfume, but the two scents just blended together and we ended up smelling like trailer trash. We finally made it to our hotel, and found out we were staying in a toilet bowl. We had no closet. We had an iron, but no ironing board. We didn't have bath towels. Our windows wouldn't lock. But don't worry, we felt very secure because the ROTC were staying in the same hotel. I had to go to the pool for warmup, and I have to say I really liked the A&M pool. First, I have to tell you have much I love my sport. The guys are so hott and so buff and they're never wearing a shirt... It's a wonderful thing. We went out to Johnny Carinos, and then went back to the hotel. I called Connor and it wasn't a great conversation because my mom was in the room.
On Friday we had to get up at 5:40 to do a "wake up swim" as Tim put it. So we went back to the pool (I was the 2nd swimmer there, worship me) and did our little "wake up swim." Then went back to the hotel, ate breakfast, then went back to the pool again for the meet. Warmed up again, and then I swam the 100 fly. I swam it next to a 43 year old, and my mom said my only goal was to beat her. I did, and broke the team record (1:00.64). I saw Cody and Trent there. Wow they're attractive... After that, Tim said I wasn't gonna swim for another 2 hours, so we went back to the hotel, and just lounged around. Back to the pool, warmed up again. Before I swam my 50 free I saw Nick Rhode and he's died his hair again. I'm not complaining, I like his hair when it's blonde. I'm not sure what he's natural hair color is though... I went to fix my hair and broke my hair tie. Great, there went my luck hair tie (yes folks, I have a lucky hair tie). I told Nick about this and he just laughed, but oh well. I gave him a hug and then went to go swim. I went around the same time (25.22, .1 off my best time) even without my lucky hair tie.
The team (or should I say just some of it, considering me, Avi, Allyson, Amber, and Alice were the only ones that went, and yes I know I'm the only non-A name there) went out to Gattitown. We had some fun talking about boys and reading Cosmo. Since me and my mom had to check out of our hotel at 11:30, we had no hotel so Amber's mom invited us to come back to their hotel. My mom just sat and read in the lobby, and Amber's mom went out shopping, so me, Amber, and Avi just hung out in their room. We watched MTV and read some Cosmo ("Why I Strip" truly inspired my). Amber fell asleep, and I was about to but my mom showed up and took me back to the pool for the relay. Yes, this was the fourth time I've been to the pool today.
Me and Allyson hung up the team banner, and we felt sooo cool :-). I thought I was gonna get done early, because the relay's were supposed to be the first thing. Wrong! The relays were the last thing, so we weren't gonna swim unti 8:30 (it was 5 at the time). The pool was at the student rec center, so we went to get some food. Some Aggie kept talking to me... ("I'm gonna check my phone to see if anyone called me!!") While I was down there I lost my Sectionals Tag (that's this little Tag that you had to have to get on to the pool deck). Since I am a very sneaky girl, I was able to get back on. Our relay finally came, and we didn't get last!! I would just like to remind you people that Sectionals is a very big meet. Olympic trials cuts were made at this meet, so just because we didn't place top 8, does not mean we're slow. We left the pool for the last time, and went home.
Sorry that was so long. And happy belated birthday to Emily Chan!
