5:55p - computer crazy
The purchase of a very new, very shiny silver MacBook late one Sunday afternoon has made me quite the happy bunny of late. I've decided I can do everything from it - watch tv, download music, order food, look at shiny pretty things (ahem popsugar and ffffound.com), work from home, yes everything.
I'm hoping to revive this blog because I miss it, and when I look back on it, it's been quite a diary for me. And it's neat to have a record of this kind of stuff.
The matchboxing is continuing. Each box is my successive favourite. I especially like this one because it has a certain sense of vulnerability to it, it's off center, it's living, it needs to be taken care of. I left it at a cafe near my place, on a counter, in a corner right next to a big pot plant.
Still loving fashion toast... Sometimes getting dressed is sufficient motivation for me to get out of bed. Tonight, after a slightly wonky fringe trim and the mysterious appearance of a cherry picker right outside my studio window, it's time to get my zine sorted for this Sunday's zine fair.. and attempt to replicate my favourite Chinese restaurant meal from scratch, dumplings and long life noodles!
