2:05p - new studio! new digs!
it's a very long time since christmas.. easter bun time in fact and some things have changed.
Raging yoghurt stopped blogging - that was so sad! But hopefully it means I'll be able to see her and little m a bit more, if they're not off enjoying yo gabba gabba from an obscenely close position.
I moved! Again. New house turned out to be a little further away from the city than originally thought, especially without a car and I found new housemates that share my love of pizza, couch and entourage. Incidentally, they're all boys. One is the boy, who was quite appalled on moving day as to how many clothes I actually own. There may have been an entire box of black dresses that led him to this conclusion.
We share a studio space now and it's actually so productive to have a separate work space. My desk at the moment is very very neat. Which inspires me to work a lot! Which is great. There's no nailpolish clutter about or stacks of used notebooks.
I've been working HEAPS! Well full time, which is normal for some people but in the first few weeks, incredibly difficult for me. I cried a lot. There was the bushfires and also the 7 or 6am starts, which means literally getting dressed in the dark and eating 2/3 of my meals at my computer. But I'm learning very quickly and actually have trivial current affair knowledge that I have busted out on several occasions. Well not really busted out but maybe contributed quietly!
And now to lunch and tv yay! Hope to update more regularly now that my new house has ACCESS TO THE INTERNET! That is so cool!!!!! No saving up stories and pics on usbs!
