| 7:43 pm | dr. franklin's island i just finished reading this book; dr. franklin's island by ann (can't remember her last name). it was so... i've been changed for life, i know that much. i've never read a sort of science fiction book like that before; one that's so real. i want to go back to school; i can write all about in my journal. but i'll try to write about it here. the main character is a shy, teenaged-girl called Semi. her and 50 other teens or so have won a contest on a show called PLANET SAVERS and the prize is flying to Ecuador to study science and what-not. on the way over, the plane crashes on a reef in the pacific ocean, with a island near by. Semi is lead by an aquaintance, a Very Cool Girl called Miranda, and a boy into the ocean. the other contestants and PLANET SAVERS people are heading in a different direction, towards a life-raft. a huge explosion at that moment kills everyone instantly, except for our three heroes. however, they do not realise this until later on. they swim onto the island and set up camp there. when the boy, a sarcastic sultry teen called Arnie, goes missing on Day 11, Miranda and Semi believe he has used a small, crappy raft he was making to escape to the sea, making him shark food. however, there is no sign of him on the horizon. not even body parts. they establish themselves on the island, and one day when Miranda and Semi go exploring on the montainous island, and discover a 'soldier' base. but when they are imprisoned, and start recieving hideous tortures to them, the plans of the evil dr. franklin are revieled to them, and they learn about the hideous monsters they will soon become. phew. it's a very complicated book, but it's an incredible plot line. i think it's pretty muched changed me for life. i'm going to go and brood about life now. cya Current Mood:  touchedCurrent Music: Rogue Traders vs. INXS - One of My Kind |
| 7:24 am | MY TIMETABLE IS SUCKY!! here is how my *cough* crap *cough* timetable is working out: MONDAY: sit around in PJs and watch TV, & do schoolbooks and bag TUESDAY: sit around in PJs and watch TV, completed schoolbooks and bag WEDNESDAY: go out with olivia and did get 2 CDs and 2 books... everything else was not needed. THURSDAY: clean room - bookshelves and wardrobe remain disatrous, desk clean. FRIDAY: sit around in PJs and MAYBE sort out entertainment SATURDAY: sit around and wish it was time for lancelin. sort out clothes i want to take. | 8:53 pm | your smile fades in the summer i want to go back to school so i can see my crush JF again and swoon. i just want to go back to normal life... today i got this stuff which enhances your blonde hair colour (mine is a little lighter than caramel) and makes it more blonde. hurrah! i'm getting a tan too, and i think i'm losing weight. speaking of tans, i got really bad sunburn today. my shoulder's look like lobsters! and my face is really pink too. ouch! i'll go again tomorrow, but i'll go for my normal walk, then a ten minute swim. otherwise i'll damage my skin even more - which would really suck! :'( so now i'm ina bad mood. oh well. tomorrow i'm gonna go and get The Vines CD and a new book too, Finding Cassie Crazy. I haven't read it yet but I read Feeling Sorry For Celia which was really good, and it was by the same author, so it's bound to be good. i still haven't cleaned my room! i did cover my school books though - now all i have to do is cover them with clear contact, which i've got. huzzah! i'm going back to school soon i think... after camping it's the weekend then i think we go back. if there's another week after that i'll die!! i need to get more uniform for school too... i need some white polo shirts. i'll have to get on the first day back - arrgghh!! anyway, since we don't know when school goes back, we're gonna look up the education department and ask them. the dog's falling asleep in my lap, so i better go. see you. | 10:55 am | jesus i never thought i'd say this but I HATE THE HOLIDAYS!! bring back school please! god. in a week i'm going camping in lancelin with snOOt, my sister + her pal, my mum + my mum's friend anita. it'll be wicked! we'll just sit around, toast marshmallows, swim in the crystal clear water, play cards and me + snOOt might even do sandboarding lessons.  Dark magician. You love the dark because of it's beauty and just the life that no-one else sees. Mysterious, calm, quiet... But that doesn't mean you're not friendly!
