Back 2 School tomorrow! Yeah. Reading period. I just realized today that I'm already really behind in my studies. Only a few days to do my music final (take home) and it's harder/longer than expected. Analyzing bach's chorales was okay, but beethoven's stupid string quartet will take more than 10 minutes, which is my attention span at the moment. This is what breaks do to me!
I'm going to bring my action figures of Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven with me to school to help me with my exam. Not Wagner, because there's not any of his music on the test and my roommate is jewish, and he was pretty much a Nazi. Bad energy!
So I need to write down what I need to do and all because it will help me.
Finals schedge:
TUESDAY 1/15 (Dean's Date):
Theory final due by 5pm.
WEDNESDAY 1/16 (First day of finals period):
Psych final at 1:30. I think it's 2 hours, hopefully not more. That's a huge bitch to study for, because studying for my midterm was like studying for a final (so much info).
FRIDAY 1/18:
Music cultures final at 1:30. This one's weird. It's an essay, with a 5 minute presentation by everybody. I wish that were optional, because our class decided what the final would be. I would rather just have an exam, mostly because I scored TEH BEST on the midterm exam and I don't like to awkwardly talk about things in front of people.
AND ENGLISH!?? I HAVE NO IDEA. Kinda worried.
So my to do list:
Non-academic
-Schedule (and have) allergy shot
-Schedule quartet meeting (why am I in charge of this?). Find quartet music (heh)
-Clarinet lesson thursday 1 pm.
-Remember to shower when writing essays.
-Pick up package from Mirella (which arrived the day I came home for break)
-Return art room keys
Academic
Psych
1. Finish reading notes (3 chapters is around 120 pages which is around 45 pages of typed notes)
2. Print out all reading notes and lectures, organize them.
3. Compile terms, including ones from the midterm
4. Study it all.
English
1. Figure out what the crap is going on for the final.
2. Make sure I know where all my books are.
3. Pray no questions on the exam are about Blonde
Music Theory
1. Finish my quick rough drafting of the exam
2. Go back and go through the exam with BOOK and NOTES at hand very thoroughly.
3. Go to office hours if necessary.
Music Cultures
1. Figure out topic for essay
2. Research that crap
3. Rough draft that crap
4. Write that crap
5. Figure out some crap to say on finals day. Visual presentation?
I often feel like dying, until I think about last year's reading period.
