Merriam-Webster has just added the word "w00t" to the dictionary. Yes, spelled that way.
Edit: Okay, some stupid blogs said it was added, but it's just merely word of the year, which "improves its chances" of being added. I doubt it.

I'm been on a massive and continuous (yet quiet, random, and subtle) campaign to make all ye l33t speakers use the "whoot" spelling that I coined back in the 7th or 8th grade. I never heard that word until I started using it, and then a year later, everyone comes out with "w00t" like it's fo' real. I don't care about the MMORPG origins. I totally override that.
It's like a smaller-scale version of Paris Hilton's "that's hot". All who think she coined that phrase are retarded. People were using that for YEARS before she claimed it. Even I used it, occasionally.
I'm 10% happy and 90% blsadaskjdkal that w00t is now in the dictionary. It should not be spelled with numbers.
