Today I got another pair of jeans from Gap, socks, and a $10 pair of boots.
Yesterday I had fun at Arianna's prom party. I hope more people have themed parties like that. Preferably when I'm 10 lbs skinnier, especially.
I have to work like, well, hell, for the next three days. According to Facebook, people (at P.U.) are even starting to study already. i purposely didn't bring home any textbooks because I wanted to save all of my studying for reading period. I mean, it is 9 or 10 days long. And, I have conveniently little desire to be social ever due to my genetic makeup so the temptation to not study is minimal, there (at home it is about thirty times higher).
Josh and Arianna don't go back until the 28th or something, and they don't have to work at all over break. I wish Princeton wasn't so dumbass like this! I always have the thought of finals hanging over my mind.
Of course I knew that and anticipated having a leisurely last-week-before-winter-break while most other people were doing finals. NO. I was pretty much in the same boat, because my computer science final was about 3 finals in one with the amount I had to study for it. And I had a spanish final.
But of course that doesn't mean I only have two exams in January. No. I have a project, an essay, and two exams. The essay and the two exams are fine. The essay is due on Dean's Date (16th) and it's only 600 words. The exams are exams.
But the final project is for computer science. It is the only textbook I brought home. I have tried to start it for about a week now. I have gotten maybe .5% progress done because the directions are vague, and it's just really hard. I need help, and I need it now. They offer all of this assistance during reading period but DANG, IT'S DUE THE FRIDAY I GET BACK! That's even before Dean's Date. Like hell am I spending those 5 days on Comp Sci, three days on Spanish, with ONE DAY left to study for my exams. No way in hell. So I decided to get 50% of my project done before Reading Period and get lots of help so I have time to study.
In short, when I go back, those two weeks will be hell.
But then I get to visit Montclair afterwards, and then two whole weeks off before 2nd semester! THAT will be the time when I can truly relax! I still wish my winter break could be more relaxful. If I didn't take computer science, it would be.
So if I get 50% done like I said, I'm going to reward myself during Intersession by playing FF XII, Wii Sports, Zelda, Photoshop (it's a game for me yo), etc. Even if I fail my exams.
