Time to explain....WALT DISNEY WORLD.
Saturday - In the airport, my eye kinda felt funny. I thought it was my contact, so I took it out, cleaned it, and put it back in, but it didn't seem to help. My eye felt really blurry for some odd reason, but I ignored it. We got on the plane at about 7 and got to Orlando at about 9 AM. Merry Christmas. The Orlando airport is a lot nicer than philly, but anyway. We got to our hotel...THE CONTEMPORARY. It is seriously a fart away from Magic Kingdom. Like, from our window, you can see all of M.K. and Space mountain is so close that it felt like our hotel was IN Tomorrow Land. So anyway, we got our room, which had the coolest bathroom ever. By this time, my eye was hurting and leaky and all weird. Oh yeah. IT WAS 40 DEGREES AND POURING. THE WHOLE DAY. Quite miserable, but at like 1 we decided to try the Magic Kingdom anyway. It was really wet. We went on the Tomorrow land Speedway thing, Peter Pan's Flight (a staple ride of mine), Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and I think we FastPassed Space Mountain (I LOVE IT!) which was so cool. We did other stuff...but anyway....my eye was gross. It was googy and leaky and red and painful and I had a tissue over it the whole time. In the line for peter pan, I started to feel really sick. My head hurt and I started to get body aches. We ate lunch in our hotel for about 160 dollars, and dinner was...THE HOOP DE DOO REVUE!!! That thing takes at least a year in advance to reserve, BUT, we got it because a) The polynesian luau was cancelled due to rain and b) some other family like, quit or something. By this time I was feeling really sick, and it was too cold, and I was basically crying.
So at this Revue, toward the end, the lady got LENNY to be a volunteer (even though he was miserable the whole time and didn't want to do anything). I have fantabulous pictures of that. He had to dress up and do stuff and wow. The whole time, he was staring at the ground. It was hilarious.
After this, I was still trying to hide the fact that I was crying, so I had tissues over like, both of my eyes. We went home and slept. I got a little bed all to myself.
The next day was Magic Kingdom again. It is truly beautiful at christmas, and christmas music ALWAYS plays. Everywhere. It was still really cold but NOT RAINY JUST CLOUDY!!! I was getting sicker. By this time I thought I had the flu. Cough, sore throat, earaches, sinus problems, headache, body ache. AND MY "EYE COLD" spread to my OTHER EYE so both eyes were crazy and sick. I still woke up earlier, stayed out longer, and generally had a better time than Lenny or Katie seemed to have had.
Rides I did in M.k.: Space Mountain Splash Mountain (the last day. This was so much fun. Except the bears....disgusting! WHAT IF THEY FARTED!? I wonder if anyone understands what I'm saying) Thunder Mountain Peter Pan's Flight Mickey's PhilharMagic Mad Hatter's Tea Party Pirates of the Carribean yoho! The animatronics are so LIFELIKE Haunted Mansion Indy Speedway Carousel of Progress (*sings* There's a great big beautiful tomoooorrow!) Stitch's Great Escape (ok I did not really like this movie, but I had to see the ride that replaced ALIEN ENCOUNTER!!!!!! I was upset. It was basically the same concept though, only with a more retarded alien.) Hall of Presidents (snore as usual) Other Stuff
We did Epcot at night on account that we had a dinner reservation in JAPAN's Teppanyaki restaurant (AWESOME!!!!!) Katie, Lenny, and I did Mission: SPACE (I think it was really really cool, but it can get you sick really easily) and then met up with parents there. Afterwards, IllumiNations started happening which was really awesome (best fireworks ever) and at the end they say like "Peace on Earth and Goodwill to men" or something like that in every language, and as each language said it, the respective pavilion lit up. So when japan went, I was jumping.
The next day was MGM. By this time, there was not a cloud in the sky and the temperature was about 65. I had so much fun in MGM, more than I expected. We managed to FastPass Rockin' Roller Coaster. THIS MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE ROLLER COASTER NOW. I thought it would be dinky because Disney World is not known for it's huge coasters, but it was so much fun. The beginning....wow. I even heard my father scream a little. I did this ride twice (again on tuesday). We also did Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Play it! which is sooo awesome. It's an exact replica of the actual studio, complete with lighting and sound and music. Basically you go in there and there is a fastest finger question that everyone in the audience can play, and whoever gets it gets into the hotseat, and you ACTUALLY play for real (there's a host and camera's and everything). In the beginning they were checking the cameras, and one went on this little girl picking her nose and she was crying for the rest of the show. It was so sad. But anyway, you can play with the person in the hot seat, and the faster you punch in the correct answer, the more points you get, and if they lose, the highest-scoring person gets in. Mom and I were really fast, but by the time we got the strategy down, it was the end. The funniest thing was "Phone a Complete Stranger" and someone outside would give the phone to a person walking in the street to answer. Yeah.
Stuff I did in MGM rockin roller coaster Tower of Terror (so much more than one fall...I thought that would be it. I really liked it) Who Wants to be a Millionaire Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular Star Tours some other shows other stuff.
Stuff I did in Epcot Mission SPACE Test Track (longest wait time) The Making of Me (hilarious) Body Wars (I got queasy) Some other Shows Innoventions Circle of Life
I'm still feeling extremely sick, so there's not much more I feel like going into, although I'll just say that I had a really great time. OH and I saw Cirque du Soleil La Nouba which was awesome.
