OKAY
Sophomore PSAT score - 1270 (60-something on math, 60-something on verbal) Junior PSAT score - unknown First-SAT score - 1230 (570 in math and 660 in verbal. Hmm. Considering I skipped all of the ones I didn't know and didn't prepare, that's ok)
Sidenote - Me looking at my scores and thinking: "Okay, 570 and 660...so that's like a 1100something, or...1100? Wait it's like 1130...or 1210. Yeah it's 1210. WAIT WAIT *writes it on paper* Okay it's a 1230." I think that is why my verbal is almost 100 points higher than math...haha.
What I was bad at (I think) Math in general vocab (thank god analogies will be destroyed)
need to buy SAT book need to take some sort of class and need to use stupid flash cards (all for the new SAT, which is the next one I'm taking anyway)
It will be interesting to see if I got higher or lower or the same on my Junior PSAT, because on that one I did not skip NEARLY as many as I did on the first PSAT and the SAT (I think I skipped maybe 5 overall, but on the most recent SAT I skipped at least 30 questions overall). Based on that, I'll know what kind of strategy to use when I take it again.
Okay, it will be only interesting to me. :)
Kevin got a 1400 because he sucks and because he rarely skipped an answer (or didn't at all, I'm not sure). Those reasons and those reasons only account for the 170 point difference in our scores. I refuse to believe that he just has a higher mental capacity than I, even though it's quite obvious in every area of academics ever.
ANYWHO
Today....
English - We watched the rest of Gatsby. The scene where Myrtle died was gruesome. People need to learn how to act. When I was reading the book, I thought of Gatsby as a much more....good looking person.
Web Development - Yesterday on front page, I created a webpage. It had to have content, so I just basically typed in a bunch of things that had to do with Spanish and Precalc (because I had tests in those subjects). There is one picture of a weird stone head, and it says something about the rules for Completing a Square. Using DHTML, when you hover over it it turns into MR. NEISWENDER'S FACE SCREAMING AT YOU!...about completing the square. I was excited. Today was blab.
Spanish - hardest test ever (in there). There was this one fill in the blank section. Facil? Wrongo. The word "estilo" and "valor" could have easily fit into 5 different spaces. I stayed after for about 5 minutes checking everything over and wailing about the incoherency of my answers in the last section. Barnes said, "Aww Juliana is going to get a 99. HAHA. I mean...I'm not rooting for it or anything."
History - Yeah. What chapter are we on? I don't know. But we have an essay due monday!
Lunch - I had a PBandJ sandwhich. Rock on.
Band - Do you remember the announcement during this period? Holy crap. Well, anyway....
Tomlin: Alright, second movement...*baton at the ready* Vicente: Pardon this interruption... Tomlin: NO!!! *starts counting us off, stops because the announcement is too loud* Vicente: ...someone has taken the media camera from the cafeteria in 5th period lunch.... Ron Lange: I DID IT!! Tomlin: haha. Ron: It's right over there. Tomlin: *looks behind him* " OH MY GOD IT IS. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! *starts laughing* BRING IT BACK. SAY YOU FOUND IT SOMEWHERE." ----- Yeah, holy crap I was on the FLOOR.
Precalc Three words from Ally: "my butt itches."
Gym - I did better in volleyball today, though still sucky. Our team is so retarded. Basically, Ryan and I spent the whole time running ourselves into walls after my one incident where I was going to get the ball and kinda ran into the wall. I could not stop laughing.
Chemistry - Yeah.
