So now most everyone has probably seen the news about Jess Naylor, the girl from around here that has been missing. She is a freshman on the soccer team. She's been missing for awhile and now it's on the news and in the newspapers and everything. If you saw the news last night, a lot of our team was at her house and stuff. Tomorrow I believe there is a service or something at Holy Name at 7:00 for her.
Today was scrimmage against Washington Twp (hard team). Last year's scrimmage was maybe 5-0. This year's was 3-1 (them). We started out really strong, and then died. We were a lot better than before, though.
I went inside the school yesterday and there are still holes in the floor!! And lots of dirt!!! God help them! How will they be ready? HOW!?
If we start late, it gives me more time to read Fahrenheit 451 which I refuse to finish (I'm about halfway, but I stopped reading 3 weeks ago).
I was rusty but still good at today's Clarinet LESSOOON. I finally am starting to open up and be more...better...sounding. I did pretty well on the 4th movement, except the fastness makes me tongue wrong sometimes. But I'll work on that.
I can't wait to get back into band.
