| "The Soccer Aspect of Soccer" |

Have any of you experienced the pain of water touching raw skin? I know I'm not too experienced in the Pain department, but I think that is the most pain I experience (yearly during preseason). That and when you bite your tongue when it's kinda flipped over. That is terrible. I should be shot.
Like a moron, I didn't put padding on my previously well-healing left heel. We went for a 15 minute run but I had to stop toward the end because it became really painful (AND I had new, unbroken-in cleats on) and saw it bleeding through my sock. Now it has to heal all over again. PSHAW. I limped the rest of practice.
My one-on-one conference went kind of like this, in a nutshell:
"You work really hard and came in shape (!). If I could get half the team to do that, that would be amazing. The thing we need to work on is the soccer aspect."
He said he had no reason to cut me, because I'm not doing anything wrong. Except sucking :p. And I need to play with confidence. My mom DIED of laughter when I told her that I had to work on the soccer aspect of soccer. Luckily I also find it hilarious. I was happy enough to hear that I was "in shape". That's crazy for a Buli like me.
Yesterday I had my Joe lesson. He told me to play with confidence. It seems the solution to all my problems is confidence. CONFIDENCE, mon. We basically worked on two scales the whole time, then he made me play a top octave C scale. He told me it was beautiful. He played mind tricks with me that worked. I played well and with a beautiful sound when I didn't think about stuff. Now I just need to never think ever. Life is hard!!!
Now I'm off to:
1. Practice piano 2. Practice clarinet 3. Clean off the table 4. Clean my room
And the fun therein will not only bore you but also shock you into a state of complete and utter numbness.
