FIRST OFF, since I forgot to do the diary thing for yesterday, I'll briefly state that I did very well on the cone exercises, especially the backward toe-tap maneuver. I did poorly in terms of energy. I've become very sluggish. The people I used to be able to pass on a run are now way ahead of me. My body is extremely tired.
TODAY was the retest for the fitness test that I didn't have to take. Everyone else did a 20 minute perimeter run, which killed me and I ended up being last. The only thing that gave me stamina was Ally, but I only saw her twice. I also was behind on sprints. I did okay in the scrimmages. Yesterday I got beat up in Goonball. But that's another thing.
Since I get some kind of allergy-induced asthma, I have an inhaler now to take before practice. It's fun. I think the real reason that my throat closes up is because I'm starting to cry. I realized that today when I made a few real bad plays in a row. I couldn't breathe but mentally got out of being hysterical (like I was on montag). however, ORCHARD GRASS MAKES ME DIE which explained last year's Peach Field incident (and I wasn't going to cry then).
SO.
Bad: long distance running, head-balling in a specific direction, left-foot rollovers, stamina in general, general field ballwork
Ok: dribbling cones, shooting (much improved from last year, suddenly), talking on the field (also much improved)
Good: random other cone drills, aggressiveness
I've never been so sore in my life

No one calls my cell phone because only three people know the number, including myself. And yet I check it a lot.
CLARINET LESSONS WENT SURPRISINGLY WELL YESTERDAY.
I had a 7:00 lesson. Joe was hilarious. But anyway, I show up with my hair unbrushed and half wet (therefore a mix between frizzy and wavy/curly) with my bangs bobby-pinned to the side and joe was like "I CANNOT GET OVER HOW DIFFERENT YOU LOOK and I CAN'T IMAGINE YOU WITH BANGS NOW." He was also like "You look....flustered" because I have a facial sunburn that is crazy when you are trying to do headballs. Anyway, I played right then for the first time since last week and amazingly did okay in terms of the Hindemith. We got to the fourth movement. I'm very much happy-skippity about that.
SO HOW ABOUT USA TOTALLY SUCKING AT OLYMPIC CANOEING?? We got last place the two times I watched it, men and women's. THE US MEN GOT 10 WHOLE SECONDS BEHIND THE REST OF THE GROUP. The commentators didn't even say anything about them at all.
I heard the marching band today. I was like WEHEHAHHSEA. Really I was.
Everyone: Update more because I haven't talked to people in awhile and seriously wouldn't know if anyone died.
