Dream [02 Sep 2003|10:14am]
I was riding a rollercoaster with some friends (none of which I know) and it was one of those where it's got a hill but the track is cut off at the top so it brings you up the hill then drops you down to gain speed. Yeah. So anyway, we just happened to be going up this bumpy hill with great speed, and someone behind me said "yeah, it's gonna stop" and we just went RIGHT over the top and started falling...I could see the huge crowded carnival below and I felt a horrible sensation of death+falling and it actually made me wake up, the stomachy falling sensation was so bad. That was scary. Then I had a dream I that I was having a sleepover with the same friends I had apparently died on the roller coaster with. Except someone was chasing us...I forget what happened.

Heh Heh:

As with most common dream themes, falling is an indication of insecurity, instability, anxiety and issues concerning your pride. The act of falling suggests that you feel overwhelmed and out of control in some situation in your waking life. This may reflect the way you feel in your relationship or in some business endeavor. You have lost your foothold and can not hang on or keep up with the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Falling dreams also often reflect a sense of failure or inferiority in a circumstance or situation. It may be the fear of failing in your job/school, loss of status, or failure in love. You feel you cannot keep up with your social circle or that you don't measure up.

According to Freudian theory, dreams of falling indicate that you are contemplating giving into a sexual urge.

According to biblical interpretations, dreams about falling suggest that man is acting and walking according to his own way of thinking and not those of the Lord.
