evening breeze outside and my own thoughts |

-sleepless, shane reaches over to the lamp next to his bed and turns it on. rubbing his eyes, he rolls out of bed and sits at his desk, opening his laptop. he sighs before he stars typing-
I am utterly bored. I really need to get out more. I've met a few people but friends isn't only what I'm looking for......I just want that feeling back.....the feeling that I have someone who will be there for me....the feeling that I have someone who cares about me......the feeling that I have someone that loves me as much as I love them....I guess I just need that special someone that can make me feel alive again. I regret it sometimes...... breaking up with her. I know that it wouldn't have worked out if I hadn't.....I mean, her in London and me in Vermont? But still, I miss having someone to hold at night. I miss having someone to talk to and to confide in. I feel so incomplete without that feeling........and I keep thinking I'll never be able to find the right girl for me...
-looks over at clock marking 12:43 AM...-
-thinks to himself- if you're out there......please rescue me....
-scrolls down on page, clicks the 'update journal button, then closes his laptop. he sits at his open window and takes out a cigarette box from the drawer next to him. slowly, shane takes one out and lights it...-

-Shane takes a break from unpacking his things and sits down at his desk, opening his laptop. He thinks for a bit, then begins to type- Hullo everyone! My name is Shane Killian Ritchie, I am currently 17 years old, and I was born and raised in London, England. My brother, Johnny, is a freshman over at Dover University and my father thought he might as well send me to Dover as well. -sighs- Ah, child neglection. Anyway, my mum died in a car crash years ago. Things were never quite the same after that....but we've made it through however. -smiles a bit- I am really looking forward to meeting new people here (especially girls ;) ) and just having a great time. Did I mention I love to party? -grins- One of the things JJ and me share a love for. -looks at his bed and the mess in his suitcase- I better get back to unpacking now...talk to me on AIM: Shibby its Shane.
