I don't feel great these days. Last night someone suggested, privately, that I take up kick boxing or something agressive like that. I'm definitely not opposed to that idea, because let's be honest - talking things out isn't enough sometimes, especially for someone with my past.
On that note, though, Soundwave is tomorrow which gives much opportunity for mosh pits. That's one way to get feelings out. Screaming, moshing... The good stuff. I think, though, what would be much more helpful is a big hug every now and then.
Doug Fields isn't as wrong as I thought he would be. He's kind of right, even if he is very neurotic about his programs and hoops... But he gets the faults in the system, too. He doesn't ignore them. So why does everyone at collge dislike him so much and have a big ministry crush on Ken Moser? If you guage success of a ministry by numbers, then Fields kicks butt... And I guess when you're reading their books it's hard to guage it in any other way, because you don't really know the numbers of Moser's church... All I know is that Fields works for Willow Creek.
Yep, the Purpose Driven movement. Not so sure of my opinion on that. I'll get around to reading PDL at some point, but for now it's PDYM.
And cupcakes that I need to get around to making before work tonight (yep, work!)... Well, only if the football doesn't get rained out.
Hear that, God? Pleeease don't rain out the football...
