I'm still here!
Hello, my adorable readers! I'm sorry I haven't been writing much! I have spent the past few days rehearsing for that movie I am going to be in! And, of course, swimming heaps so that I won't get kicked out of it! It appears that I am still "in" (as Heidi Klum would say), as I spent this afternoon bowling with a supermodel, TV soap star, dancers and a handful of young actors and actresses. The director wanted us to bond, and I think it might have worked. This whole movie experience has been surreal, wonderful and tiring. And it's all really happening to me, which is the weirdest thing. I mean, I am like "the girl who cried wolf"...I have always blagged on about things, eg. to avoid questions like "So, what do you do?" I would joke around that I was a rock star, or a circus performer, or something equally absurd. But now I am actually going to be in a feature film, I am scared that it's another thing that I've imagined, and that everything will disappear as suddenly as it appeared.
Also, Canberra was a total disaster.
I will fill you in at a more dignified hour.
