I am totally extra-curricular girl at the moment. Maybe it has something to do with me writing lists of alternative careers while I am on the train to work in the mornings (latest job idea: working at a resort for free acommodation and food). Maybe it's because my office has no windows, so all I can do is daydream. Maybe it's because I'm always sleepy these days, so daydreaming is perhaps a way for me to sleep while walking around and working at the same time...

Anyway. The point is that I spend far too much time at work and not enough time having fun. Right. Now I've figured that out, I have decided to:

1. Take this blog more seriously and stop neglecting my good and faithful readers and TRY TO WRITE MORE OFTEN!
2. Eat those yummy jelly cup things all the time, especially while I am at work.
3. Put together a rock band.

That's right: I am serious about this rock band thing. I was initially going to put together a girl rock band (all of that listening to The Donnas and the Sahara Hotnights that I do starts to infiltrate my brain), but for some reason, there aren't really that many girls around me who can play instruments AND enjoy listening to big dumb rock. So of course, there's a perfect bass-playing boy slash best friend slash boyfriend around me all the time...what's a girl to do? Pretend he's not there or something?

So I have to start this band now. NOW. I need a new obsession. The 9 to 5 thing is destroying my mind. My rock star brother taught me power chords last night. I think that power chords have changed my life. He let me use his Fender Strat...mmm, it was good. This time, I'm not just going to have a rock chick image, I am going to BE a rock chick! I am! I am!
