Little darling, it's been a long, cold, lonely winter...
Mmmmm. I've been spending lots of time in the sun for the past two days, and it makes my head go all warm and dreamy. I've been finishing work at the childcare centre in the middle of the day lately, so when it's sunny, I've been heading down to the park for a mini picnic. Whatever you eat at a picnic, it will always be delicious. Especially if you're looking at sparkly water and boats, and you're feeling all cosy in the sun. I love walking through grass barefoot- it awakens my senses.
I came home from a dazed trip to the shops (it was post-sun) and, with the help of Zachary, I whipped up some lychee semi-freddo. Gorgeous stuff. I'd eat some now, but apparently dairy products do funny stuff to your voice before singing.
Cue "Here Comes the Sun"...Paul and John SO should have let George write more songs. |
