Autumn 2004
Behold, friends: it's the summary of the season! I've been so busy lately- I'm going to be working 7 days a week for the next 3 weeks. I'll be working 3 full days at the university for Illustration Winter School (praise God for that- it means that Spacegirl Carla will get a car soon!), then a few days at the childcare centre, and the rest of the time I'll be doing design work. I know that things will have to calm down soon. I've still been partying a lot, though- I mean, come on, what's a girl to do when her best friend turns 21?
AUTUMN '04
*My blog turning 1 and finally getting some pictures- hip hip, hooray! *This has probably been one of the longest, most eventful seasons, ever *Almost having a boyfriend and then definitely NOT having one- I would so love to have a non-dysfunctional relationship one day. And it's never my fault! *Going to 3 different churches at once- that wasn't my fault, either *Having 4 different jobs- praise God for that! *Driving more *The punk rocker look *Going back to work at the university as a teacher- I'm like a much-loved character from a TV show who leaves uni, but the writers have to figure out a way to write me back in so they made me into a teacher! *Working with kids- I love it, I LOVE it! And I especially love Kiera, Charlie, Ed, Ruby and little Matty! *The Hi-5 look (complete with playdough stuck to my butt) *Little Birdy *Quitting Myer- finally, sadly, triumphantly *"Pinocchio" *My design business taking off- and I didn't even look for jobs, God is so great *Growing so much as a Christian, and feeling like I've gone into a great new stage of life *Trying to socialise more (as usual), but liking staying home and watching chick flicks more *Caro! Yum! *Sitting on the porch of my cubby house in the sun and drinking tea *Joss Stone *The rock chick look- sorry, it's not going to go away! *Purple Docs- I'm tough, I'm tough! *Vanilla Lipsmackers coming back to the shops again- YES! *Guy Sebastion- my imaginary boyfriend *Blowing bubbles- it mystifies AND annoys people *The kilt- it goes with everything! *Sonya giving me a lot of her clothes *The Darkness *Going away a lot *Making new friends *Having insomnia- it isn't as glamorous or romantic as I thought it would be *Being surprised that I've actually been working A LOT this year and not taking the year off, as I had planned *Blondie *Writing more songs on my guitar, yay! *Not being seriously obsessed with any boys since my last disaster- hurrah! *Hanging out with Beachmission buds more- they rock (Jungle Jane and Mustang Sally, this means YOU!)! *People being nice and wanting me to go back to my old church, even though I don't know if I can *My hot new camera *The Black Eyed Peas *Friends engaged: 3 (I think...I'm losing track) *Friends married: 1 (maybe?) *Starting all over again with so many different things *Trying to be a tidy person *Sunsets and sunrises

> I've just been working on creating logos for 2 companies with really, really long names: Gabriele Grafin von der Schulenburg and Marian Street Theatre for Young People! If I ever have a kid, I'll give it a name with minimal letters so that it's super-easy to design, like Ed or Jo! No, really, I'd like to give my kids weird middle names like Elvis or something, but then they might hate me forever after that. |
