the woes of the cheerleader/secretary look
You know, I've been feeling like I haven't updated my journal for ages. But then I look back to when I last updated, and it was only ten days ago!
I've been so busy. I've been working heaps at Grace Bros, and also being a Girl Friday wherever I can, which is lots of fun. I've also been trying a bit harder than usual to go out and be sociable. I really like staying at home and reading and writing and tidying and watching DVDs and taking baths by candlelight. I have to force myself to go out, because otherwise, I'll just live in my own imaginary world. Living in my own world is very nice, but I think that I do that too much. So much so, that I don't really know how people interact with each other on a regular and ordinary basis. Which is probably why I'm always saying odd things (usually about musicals or Peter Pan or princesses or something) in conversations.
One thing that I forgot to write in my summary of Spring 2003 was this: wearing pleated skirts on windy days! It is definitely a no-go zone, especially if you're carrying a handbag and a portfolio case, thus disabling your holding-down-skirt abilities.
