    Time Event
    9:44p
list everything you've been thinking about...now!
I don't really have a nice, neat update on my latest adventures for you to read today. Everything is a little bit jumbled up in my head. Well, maybe not jumbled, but perhaps stacked so heavily on top of one another that I forget all the pieces that are underneath. And so, dear reader, I will attempt to recount a few interesting things for you below:

    > I spend any spare moment I have with my head buried in my disintegrating copy of "Little Women". I bought it maybe a year ago (or half a year ago? Don't remember) from the bargain box outside Gleebooks, and all of the glue has come off the spine. So I have to stack the pages up carefully when I read the book. I love "Little Women"- it always inspires me to be hardworking, sweet and good to others. And oh, how I wish for a Laurie! Though I do have suspicions that I have a few friends who are boys who are Lauries already, which is very nice.
    > I find it hard to look at three-dimensional things- I spend so much of my time staring at pieces of paper and computer screens.
    > I chickened out (AGAIN) of taking my guitar to uni and singing a song for my presentation! Maybe next time?
    > I have missed too many 21sts this semester, all because of my major project. And I guess a few other things taking up time. I don't think that I have been a very good friend for the past six or so months, and I hope to get better at being a friend once the project is over. People whose parties I am sorry I have missed: Ju's and Bo's and Matt's.
    > The boys from Shapeshifter have gone down to play at this Christian music festival called Black Stump this long weekend. I assume it's in the bush somewhere. I wish that I could join them! I got to talk and laugh with Ben and Tim last night, though, which was nice. But not nearly the same as seeing them perform.
    > I have decided to go down to South Australia on an adventure! The adventure will take place the week before Christmas. You can be sure that more details will surface soon.
    > I considered chopping my hair again, just because I was watching cable, and saw the scene in "Roman Holiday" where Audrey Hepburn gets a haircut and all of a sudden people are calling her a "hot princess". But then I realised today that if I had been foolish enough to cut my hair, I wouldn't be able to get away with not washing it as much when I go on my South Australian road trip.
    > I had a luxurious sleep-in yesterday morning, and woke up for the first time this week without feeling dreadfully grumpy. The bus ride to the station was sunny and warm, with added excitement in the air from all of the holidaying teenagers who joined me for my journey. They are so cute- they get all dressed up, because they're so glad to be out of their uniforms! The girls wore little ra-ra skirts and t-shirts and black eyeliner and funny 80's earrings. I think that they thought that I was one of them, though. Hopefully my navy-and-white knee-high striped socks indicated that I was from a different realm.

Spacegirl Princess Carla, going back to her pencils and paper.
