spring fever officially begins!
Well, there's a sweet smell in the air, and I'm wearing a smile that my friend Steve described as "cheeky". It's the first day of Spring, and there's so much to celebrate! A phone call to a boy who wanted my number, ideas for my project, hanging out in photobooths with a red cardboard heart, lovely ladies to work with. And I haven't even had my Milo yet!
Here's my way of saying goodbye to Winter 2003. I have to say that I'm glad it's over- I'm getting a bit tired of wearing so many jumpers, and I want to get back into skirts. And Spring time always means Mission planning time. Plus, this year I graduate!

*Eating an ice-cream almost everyday, without even realising it *Everyone getting Spring Fever early *Friends engaged: 1 *Shoes with stars in them *The major project begins, feeling yucky at first, but then getting much better *Being a hermit *"Gilmore Girls" *Hot Milo with milk and honey, eaten with Scotch Finger bickies (dunked, of course) *Running away from things *Realising that you can't run away from certain things (especially if it turns out to be a positive thing) *Doing the op-shop, second-hand thing (I must be a true design student now) *"Josie and the Pussycats" *My sister becoming a Christian *Playing the guitar and singing songs *Terrigal *MYC *2 hearts broken in 24 hours *"Anastasia Krupnik" *Being a ballerina *Stripey socks *"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" *The rock star boy being a sweetheart, especially when I keep changing my mind (which doesn't really fix things, anyway) *Everyone knowing about the rock star boy (how? How?) *I still really want the third "Princess Diaries" book *Being friends with boys (Scott, Jono, Andrew Manning and Steve, this means you!) *No more Saroj *Relying on God, reading His word more *My room feeling like it's getting smaller and smaller (it's all rather "Alice in Wonderland") *Katie leaving Grace Bros *Rachel being my hero *Exercising more (okay, that was only yesterday) *Still being busy *Missing my social life *Saying goodbye to Ruth *Saying goodbye to a lot of things, really *Trying to be responsible *Waking up early *Enjoying talking to people again *Feeling excited about the future |
