departure anticipated!
My attention span has been quite bad lately. There are a few reasons for this. First of all, standing around all day at work doing nothing makes me want to be entertained as soon as I leave that place. Secondly, I think that my brain needs a rest after having to concentrate so intensely on uni stuff all the time. And thirdly? I'm tired. I've spent the past few months racing around trying to do too many things at once.
So what's a girl to do? Well, I've shoved a small part of my wardrobe into a duffle bag, packed my purple glittery make-up box and purchased my new swimming costume. Tomorrow, I'm skipping town! I'll be on the train to Gosford by eight-thirty in the morning with my knitting needles and a mysterious air. If you see a girl tomorrow wearing a stripey rockstar shirt, a shimmery green superhero belt and beaten-up jeans, don't interrupt her quest. Relaxation, buddies, the beach and Harry Potter: here I come! Expect a whole lot of new in-jokes in a couple of days time.
