I read something today that made a lot of sense. The quote said simply...Through the prism of time our experiences take on clarity. That made quite an impact on me. I mean, DUH! I know, any moron with a book of matches can start a fire, right? Its just that all the sudden my experiences over the past several months just came into focus and I could see the greater meaning. I was frozen to the toilet seat (yep, I read while doing my business). I guess you could say that most people progress and grow from their experiences, but I seem to be stagnating in mine. I keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again thinking that they'll have a different conclusion. Oh well...maybe tomorrow I'll wake up to a cup of joe and instead of adding vanilla creamer, I'll reach for the hazelnut!
