    Time Event
    2:25p
So tell me and other stuff.
I talk an awful lot about myself on here, which is tres boring, and it's been awhile since I've done one of these...

    So tell me...
    1. What should you probably be doing right now?
    2. What, if anything, is worrying you?
    3. What issues are most important to you in the upcoming election?
    4. What are your fave websites at the moment?
    5. What books have you read recently that you'd recommend? How about movies or tv shows?
    6. What's on your beauty product lust list?
    7. What's on your must-have list for Fall?
    8. Complete this sentence: I can't walk out of my house without ___________.
    9. Complete this sentence: I am so sick of ____________.
    10. Anything you want to tell me?

    And now for other stuff.

Things I want to do today/this weekend:
    1. Go for my walk today. (That will make 4/5 this week!)
    2. Go to the gym.
    3. Go to Babies R Us for last minute registry tweaks.
    4. Go through the house and throw out crap that I don't need or haven't used in fo-evah.
    5. Go to the library.
    6. Go to the track.

My spending diet is going well. I just have to stick...with....the plan. Instead of going in debt, then digging myself out, then going back in, I'm trying to live within my means and pay everything off every month, which isn't easy because I have like...no money, no discretionary personal money anyway. I can basically have one pretty decent purchase for yours truly every month. I obviously just made mine, so I can't buy anything else until 9/17 or so. My next purchase should be a pretty good one though because D, Bill, and I are proctoring again on 8/23 for extra money. Ugh. Every time I say I won't do it again, but the extra money keeps me coming back. If I have even half a brain, I should either save the money for fun spending post baby, or I should use it to help pay off that zero balance transfer thing that's sure to be expiring soon. Ugh. Fiscal responsibility is lame. I figure with the economy in the toilet, my husband in school, a kid on the way, and a mortgage in the works, the least I can do is to keep myself completely out of debt, as difficult as it is. Although...ideally....I'd like to diversify my investments, although I have a feeling that will have to wait until after D lands his job. Right now I have half my money in a retirement type fund and half in an aggressive growth mid cap mutual fund. I want to start putting money somewhere else...right now I'm thinking some in a conservative large cap fund, some in a vice fund, and maybe some in a foreign growth fund. Now I just need a bunch of money.

The other day, D and I went to a family/baby care class in order to fool us into thinking we're in some way prepared to raise an infant. Somehow, I think that the little plastic baby we dealt with was probably a lot more docile and a lot less demanding than the real deal will be, but it was alright anyhow. Sponge bathing, diapering, swaddling, and post partum mama care/advice were the topics du jour. Next up is the labor class. Now that's going to be fun.

    Other things I'm thinking about:
-Training for a marathon post-baby. Crazy I know, but it's something I've always wanted to do, and now seems like as good a time as any.
-I need to find a pediatrician.
-What job I'll end up with....working for that new start up or staying here?
    -Work...life...balance?
-God I hope I graduate in December.
-When are we going to close on our house?!?!?!?!?!

Also, just in case you were wondering, my skin looks AMAZING. A more detailed 1 week follow up review will be posted on Tuesday.

And now...so that I'll be able to cross at least one thing off my list, I'm going for that walk.
