Tuesday. Well, today I have already been wonderfully productive.
Today's to-dos: 1. Finsh Article VII exercise 2. Bring bills in to Bill drafting 3. Do time sheets 4. Start Chair budget letter (due on 22nd) 5. Run reports 6. Talk to Codes about Dog bill 7. Get preliminary agenda together 8. Walk for 30 minutes downstairs
Last night I finished D's scarf, and I started one for my mom's birthday. I figured because I'm broke as a joke, I should give these out in addition to whatever I can afford. Reasonable, right?
Yesterday we also restocked our fish tank, and it looks awesome again.
We also watched Planet of the Apes, (the original) which I found to be vaguely disturbing.
I discovered that my iPod is fine and that I just need new headphones. I have those stupid ear bud things, but I hate those because my ear holes are too small, and the buds just fall out constantly.
So apparently everyone is getting married. Again. I think I'm on wedding wave two. At the end of the month, I'm supposed to be going to my friend Liz's wedding. Thankfully it's really informal, and...I'm supposed to dress up as a zombie, which should be interesting. Also, I got a text message from Donielle, my super skinny friend from the City, telling me that she is engaged and that she would like for me to be her bridesmaid. Me being me, of course I responded that I would...now I'm all freaked out because I don't know any of the details, which for me are really important. For one, if she's planning on doing this between now and July, it would be a really big problem because my job doesn't care about weddings and stuff. Second, it's entirely possible that she'll do a destination wedding (her family is from Jamaica), and if she is, there is no way in hell that D and I can afford to go....And, I could totally see her saying that all the bridesmaids had to buy $400 teal Vera Wang dresses or something, which I could never afford....so now I'm all annoyed that she asked me in a text message and that I said yes without knowing any details. Plus, who tells and aks something like that in a text message?! I mean Jesus, I'm super phone averse, but even I'm not that bad. Ummm...so yeah. Then, supposedly Jamie is getting married at some point after she has her baby and when Craig gets back from Iraq next Spring. Rumor has it that it will be a Western style wedding where I'll have to wear....Western wear. Like boots. And Western shirts. And a hat. And stuff.
This summer, I want to go to Washington and Florida to visit family and friends respectively. I don't know how I'm going to get all the money to do all this stuff. Weddings and traveling and everything, and I really don't know how I'm going to do it all if I get knocked up as biology would dictate. Why does everything have to be....sooo....?
Today's food plan: Bfast: Organic non fat Greek yogurt Lunch: Baby carrots and low fat cheese Bvg: V8 Dinner: Homemade chicken and veggie soup and turkey burgers
This week is a break week from Session, which means I should be able to get out of here every night at 5, and I plan on making use of that by going to the gym a TON, because I want to get back in the habit of going, and I'd like to lose a pound or two this week, and after the weekend I had, it's going to take a lot of exercise to make that happen.
Today, because I'm not fully recovered from my cold (I'm at like 85%), I figure I'll just have a kick ass treadmill workout instead of going on the elliptical or anything like that.
I think tomorrow I'll do weights at home, and on Thursday I want to do the elliptical. On Saturday I'm proctoring, but on Sunday I want to do cardio again. Must. Burn. Calories.
Okay. I'm finishing my time sheets, and then I'm walking!
