Weekend update Monday again? I feel like every time I turn around it's Monday.
The weekend was good. Friday was....nothing too exciting really..My former team had a big dinner party for everyone who has recently left, and it was pretty nice. Not too much to say really. Boring work dinner party. Saturday, I made a fancy dinner, and I invited Mike and his girlfriend over for dinner and drinks to celebrate D's birthday. We had a really good time. Lots of Wii, lots of food, and lots of drinking.
Obviously we slept in on Sunday, which was D's birthday. I made him banana blueberry pancakes, and we had a nice, relaxing breakfast. I did manage to get a thirty minute strength workout in, which is good. I did upper body and abs. We just kind of hung around all day, and then we went out for a nice dinner. I looked so cute! Black satin skirt, white wrap around dress shirt with French cuffs, black kitten heels, hair back, red lips. Tres chic! Dinner was awesome and fairly healthy. I ate no bread. I had a veggie salad app, 1 crab cake, a steak dinner & veggies, and I didn't eat my potatoes. Not bad for a celebratory dinner. Double bonus: we walked to and from dinner, which is about a 30 minute talk in total.
So yeah, that was pretty much the weekend! The food was bad on Saturday, decent on Sunday, so I am now back on the wagon. What else is new?
The plan for the week? Protein for breakfast, tons o' veggies from 9-5, and a sensible dinner. I WILL walk 30 mins 3x a week, and I want to go to the gym once for cardio, and I want to do lower body weights once. I also NEED to push the water.
Today's plan: Exercise: 30 minute walk downstairs Food: Breakfast: 1 cup organic plain yogurt: 130 cals, 22 g protein, 0 fat Lunch: Veggie salad, dressing on the side Snack: Baby carrots, broccoli Bvg: V8 Dinner: Veggie chili & baked potato
If I get out at a reasonable time, I'll do either a yoga or pilates dvd.
And now I need to get ready for an annoying teleconference. *Yawn* |

Success? Wore a size 2 skirt to work today and to dinner yesterday.
This is evidence that I haven't gained too much over the holidays and the weekend.
I did manage to walk my thirty minutes today, and I did about 10-15 minutes of pilates abs, which was great. Doing abs was great. I've been slacking on my abs for the past few weeks because of the cyst thing, sooo...doing abs today felt really good. I bet I'll feel it tomorrow.
Tonight D didn't have class, so I didn't want to do a lengthy workout tonight. I figure he has class tomorrow until like 9, so I'll have plenty of time to do a real workout tomorrow....I'm thinking I'll either do 40 minutes of core Secrets, a 40 minute pilates workout, or 20 mins of pilates and 20 of yoga. I also will trrrryyyy to fit my 30 mins in tomorrow because I obviously won't be going to the gym because I won't have the car. I'm thinking I'll go to the gym either Wednesday or Thursday. Basically... Tues: 30 minute walk, 40 min dvd workout Wed:30 minute walk Thurs:gym Fri:30 min walk, lower body weights Sat: off Sun:gym
So today has gone like this so far. Bfast: yogurt Lunch: salad Snack: raw veggies Snack: 1/2 leftover chicken breast Bvg: 1 vodka drink (100-200 calories) Dinner: vegan chilli and baked potato |
