    Time Event
    3:58p
    and stuff.
    So yeah.

Yesterday I didn't go to work which wa pretty awesome. Love it.

    I had three appointments.

First off, I went to the optometrist. Fun times. For the first time in like the 12 years that I've had glasses, my presrcription hasn't changed, which is totally amazing. For one, it means I can continue to ear my old glasses, and I <3 them.

I got two pairs...one pair of funky brown plastic frames by Juicy Couture, and I got a pair of black plastic CKs with a pink lining? I don't know if that's what you call it, but the inside of the frame is pink. They're so damn cute. <3 having vision coverage and flex spending. Neither pair will cost me a dime out of pocket. YES!

Then we went to the mortgage guy. Turns out this meeting was pretty cool too. I was pleasantly surprised to see how stellar my credit is: 768 out of 800! WOO HOOO! And yes, I'm a tremendous dork. D's was really good too, but it was like five points lower than mine, so I win. Ha. Anyhow, despite being on basically one income, we got approved! Of course there's still that pesky issue of down payment....Ugh.
Hopefully we can borrow it from our parents, which is totally lame. I hate borrowing money, and I hate asking anyone for anything. It would be really nice just to receive random gifts of money from people....or win the lottery or something. We don't even need a big lottery win. A few thousand would do. Blaaaaah.

Now, one issue is that there are problems with the house maybe. You all probably recall me bitching about the bees and a few other things. My mom is super concernred and doesn't want us to buy the house. OBVIOUSLY we wouldn't buy it unless we got the house thoroughly inspected, and if there were any problems, we'd negotiate the price super low, borrow money to fix it, and then we'd fix it. Duh. It's like she thinks I'm still five. What? Like I want to throw all my money into a proverbial money pit?

Ok, so onto the next thing. Obviously this whole homeownership/student thing is going to make us really, really, really, really poor for at least a year or so...basically until D is done with law school and has a real, full time lawyer type job. This basically means no recreation, no fun clothes, no anything for about a year. No wine, no anything. Like seriously no anything. So we were then thinking....that if we basically have to be sober for a year out of poverty, maybe we should kill two birds with one stone and be sober for a biological, family type reason as well. Yeah so...now we're thinking some time in Jan-March we might try. It scares me to death, this whole pregnancy/baby thing. *Bangs head on desk*

    Anyhow, yeah.

    Le sigh.

Then I went to the vet, and Mug's ear is still good. Yay.

Today I got a bunch of crap done.

    Insurance is official! YAY!

I think I mentioned that though.

Today I did my 30 minute walk, and I'm going to do yoga and strength training when I get home. Mhhmmmm.

Man it is quiet in Blurty land.

    Food.
Oh. I've decided to keep a food diary again.

I want to reach what I consider to be my ideal weight before I conceive, because I only want to have to deal with losing baby weight post-delivery.
