Is it pay day yet? Lately I feel like I can't get enough caffeine, which is bad because what I really probably need is more water. Go figure.
I have a take home exam due tomorrow night, and I seriously can't be bothered. I should so be working on it right now. Instead, all I can focus on is how soft my seater is and how I need to do my 30 minute walk.
So yesterday, I had my teeth cleaned. They look awesome. Still no cavities. *Cheers weakly*
Yestersay, I had my meeting with the Chair, and it is now officiall. As in officially official. My old job posted yesterday. While I'm excited, I'm also a little nervous because it's a really big, important committee, and with a new Chair, I'm going to be way more important than the last analyst was, which is kind of scary. *twitches*
We are still waiting to hear from the mortgage guy. I think we'll get approved for something, but I'm dubious as to whether or not we'll get approved for a large enough mortgage to buy the house because of our limited (husband works ten hours a week) income. It's best for me not to stress about it anyways though because my landlord isn't getting the house inspected until January, and we won't know what they'll ask for it until then. Soooo....I'm going to try to not think about it.
Except I'm going to list all the reasons I really want it because I can't help it.
1. Three bedrooms vs one. We could have a bedroom, a workout room, and a spare/kid room.
2. There's an office nook too!
3. Hardwood floors *swoons* (I hate carpets)
4. It's on the 1st and 2nd floors, so the backdoor opens to the yard, so we could just let Mugs out! YES!
5. We'd be buying at like the lowest point in the market since the Depression.
6. We'd be buying at the only point in our lives when we'd qualify for a SONYMA morgage (income limits).
7. I'd still be able to walk to work, so we wouldn't need another car that we couldn't afford, and we wouldn't have to deal with parking issues.
8. It has a huuuuge kitchen, and a much larger living room, both of which we desperately need because we have too much crap.
9. It would be a direct sale, so there wouldn't be a commission to pay, and there wouldn't be any sort of bidding war or what not.
The weekend was good. On Friday, we went to my friend Liz's birthday, which was a trip to Sephora (where I magically didn't buy anything), and a trip to the Cheesecake Factory. Now let me just say, that place is NOT worth a two hour wait. I was good. I ordered one of the <600 calorie salads. Hurraaaaay. It was good to see her. After that, we went to an office type party, and it was pleasant but boring. I had some holiday martinis, and it was cool because we got there late so all the food was gone.
The next day...I don't even know what I did the next day. I'm pretty sure I went to the gym to do some cardio. Then we went to my parents' house for dinner. My great aunt and uncle were there, and it was super nice. There was so much food it was obscene. Ugh. Very nice though.
Seriously though, it took me two days to de-bloat from this weekend. Blah.
Weight-wise I'm doing okay, although I'm in kind of a dark mood after receiving yesterday's Banana Republic order. My size 4 pants were smaller than my 0s. Seriously, WTF? So now of course I'm in no mood to eat anything ever again, which is fine because I waaaant to losssse weight.
