Weekend run down + the plan
    Ok. Weekend rundown!

Friday, I ate healthy all day until it was time for dinner. Then we went out for dinner with a bunch of people because it was one of D's friend's birthday. Ugh. Anyhow, we went out, and I had a lean cut of steak and some wine. I've been feeling like I need some iron, and it was seriously one of the healthiest looking options on the menu believe it or not...because everything else was pasta-based, fried, or smothered in some sort of sauce from hell. I drank wine, and that was good. I narrowly avoided drinking some calorie-laden fancy drinks from their swanky cocktail menu. The waitress said there might be nuts in the cake, so I got a free pass on that becuase of my nut allergy. YES! Dinner was way boring, and some cheap people who claimed they didn't drink (although their empty wine glasses seemed to tell a different story) refused to pay their fare share of the bill. Everyone else went out for dancing and drinks, but D and I couldn't be bothered, so we walked home. Bonus: we walked to and from dinner, which was about 20+ minutes.

Saturday we woke up early to work on our papers. Fun! We ate scrambled egg whites and turkey sausage with diet bread. Awesome. Then Donielle and Riel showed up, and we hung out at our house for awhile and played Wii. Donielle said she felt like she was going to pass out, and I convinced her to eat a banana and some veggie mushroom soy nugget things. We drank wine. It was good! Then, we all went to the mall, and Donielle and I went to Sephora, which just opened about two days ago. It was a total zoo. I had two gift cards because my inlaws gave me one, and because Donielle did too. Score! I bought everything. I was a woman possessed.

    I bought:
-DuWop lip venom. Love it. I kind of avoided it before because I have very full lips to begin with, and I didn't want to look weird. Anyhow, it feels nice on, and it makes your lips a wee bit pinker, and it just makes them look lush.
-Two Fresh glosses. I love Fresh's glosses. They smell and feel so nice, and the colors are so wearable. Double bonus: the gloss comes complete with mirrors!
-Tarte Clean Slate- I swear, makeup just glides on and looks SO flawless if you use this stuff first.
-Murad Pomegranite Moisturizer and Murad Perfecting Night Moisturizer-These are so fab! They are moisturizing, but light, and they make your skin glow.
-Bare Minerals Powder- Because I'm almost out, and I cannot live without it.

And yes, I spent way more than my $150 in gift cards. Beauty product junkie!!!! Amazingly enough though, I have no guilt because I love all of it!

Then, we all went out to dinner. I ordered salmon, and it was delicious. We had...more wine. No dessert. Then we went home, went to their hotel, had some drinks, and then Donielle fell asleep. D and I ended up having pizza. Everything would have been totally perfect sans pizza.

Sunday, we all went for brunch at our favorite place, but Donielle couldn't eat anything because...she doens't eat eggs, breakfast meat, or starch, which pretty much rules out..most breakfasts that one could eat out. She ordered a veggie omlette without the eggs and cheese, which was...vegetables. Yeah. Anyhow, breakfast was good. I had curried eggs on a whole wheat English muffin. D&R went home, and D and I worked more on our papers before heading to my parents' house for a belated birthday dinner. Appetizers were lobster and shrimp cakes, fortunatley without any fatty sauces, and thankfully she didn't do antipast. Dinner was fairly healthy with veggies, whole grain rice, and chicken. Dessert was cheesecake with fresh berries (groan), and the other problem of course was drinks. Anyhow, dinner was lovely, and for my and D's birthday, my parents got us a new entertainment center, which should arrive in January. We're really excited, and it looks really nice, but we're a little bit nervous that it may be too big for our apartment. We'll see.

Anyhow, today I feel incredibly fat, but I think it's mostly bloat from all the wine and booze. While my food wasn't that bad, I know I took in a ton of cals from the alcohol, and I need to be incredibly virtuous over the next few days to not gain from it.

    The plan until Thanksgiving:
    -No alcohol at all.
    -Water, water, water, water.
    -Protein for breakfast.
-Lemon water after/with breakfast no matter what.
-Veggie soup or salad for lunch.
-Green tea supplement in the afternoon.
-Sensible dinner = protein, double veggies, whole grains.
-After dinner, have lemon water or tea.
-At work Monday and Tuesday, walk for 30 minutes.
-On Wednesday, go to the gym for cardio before going to my mom's house to cook.
-Thursday, do some weights or pilates or something before going to my mom's house, and eat a healthy protein based breakfast and have a salad for lunch.

    Post Thanksgiving
-No drinking for at least one week, if not two (I know I'll lose weight if I do this, and because of all the papers that are due, I won't be able to workout as much as I'd like.)
    -Walking 30 minutes at work.
-Go to the gym at least 1x a week.
-Sneak in resistance training through weights, yoga, or pilates whenever I can.

After finals are over, I'm going to LIVE at the gym. I want to look super hot for New Years.

    Current Mood: tired
