    This weekend was diet and exercise hell.

    Ugh. Dies. Shoots self.

    Friday, we had proctoring training from 6-8, and we got home around 8:30.

    Saturday, we had to get up around 4 ish to proctor from 6-6. Ugh. Awesome. Then we went to the costume store where I was horribly disappointed in the costume quality and bought only accessories. Then we went for Thai food. I think I ordered something healthy....I ordered the only curry dish that had no coconut in it, and it wasn't creamy or thick, and it was super spicy, and it contained lots of chicken and veggies, and I didn't eat that much of the rice. Obviously I ordered white rice, not fried, and for my appetizer, I had a broth based, spicy shrimp and veggie soup.

    Sunday, well...Sunday I slept in, and then D, Bill, and I went out for breakfast, which actually wasn't too unhealthy. Then Bill and I went to the fabric store, where I made the questionable decision to make...my...own...costume...by...hand. Now, you should know that so far my sewing skills include....sewing up small tears, fixing a screwed up hem (only small screw ups), and altering my friend's dress straps. I am now going to make my entire costume. I bought fabric and....stuff.

    I am going to be a goddess! Fun!

    After that we went to the grocery store because we needed food for the week.

    Then, I went home, put everything away, cleaned the house, made a chicken & veggie soup, and made a low fat veggie quiche for dinner. Then I worked on my take home midterm, which I'm about to complete because it's due today, and then....it was the end of the day.

    Sunday was the only good diet day of the bunch. Saturday was 3/4 bad, and Sunday was probably....just bad.

    As you can see, aside from the walking I did on Friday at work, my weekend was horrible workout wise. I think I did some strength training on Friday too, but gah! I feel fattter than ever. Well, a little less fat than I felt yesterday, but whatever. Yesterday was good, and today will be seriously good. I'm in hideous PMS-phase, so I'm going to up the calcium, protein, veggies, and whole grains only.

    Today:
    Bfast: 1/2 piece of low fat veggie quiche
    Lunch: 1 cup of veggie and chicken soup
    Snack: 1/2 piece of low fat veggie quiche
    Snack: low fat string cheese
    Dinner: roast beef (lean cut), carrots, and peas slow cooked in fat free cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix over brown rice

    Tomorrow:
    Bfast: sugar free whole grain oatmeal with strawberries
    Lunch: 1 cup chicken and veggie soup
    Snack: strawberries
    Snack: low fat string cheese
    Dinnner: grilled, marinated pork chops, quinoa, and broccoli

    This morning I did a brief upper body weights workout...bicep curls, tricep extensions, military press, weird shoulder raises (out to the front and the side- can't think of what they're called), and I'm going to walk for 30+ minutes. I'm going home at 4, and I'm going to do 3 x 12 squats....must tone thighs and ass. It's my lower body that's really giving me grief lately. My arms look good, and my abs look decent. My running has been crap because now that it's been getting darker, I just CAN'T wake up early enough in the morning. It takes me forever to fall asleep at night, and when I do fall asleep, I can't wake up. Awesome.

    I'm taking tomorrow off because...I need some me time. I want to workout, deep condition my hair, do a clay mask ( I really notice a difference if I don't do a mask for awhile), catch up on my homework, vaccuum the house, make some food ahead of time, that sort of thing. I think tomorrow I want to take Mugs for a 30 minute walk, and I want to do either Iron Yoga or 40 mins of pilates with the resistance band.

    In other news, 2 shots of pomegranite juice a day continues to make my skin look amazing. Seriously, you must try it!

    Also, because I'm taking way too many classes, my loans are deferred until December. Woo hoo! That saves me mucho dinero. I get paid this week and at the end of the month, and I'm getting procotoring money, and I'm procotoring again in December. This is all awesome because I have been spending money like WATER. Halloween costumes, fall shopping, blah, blah, blah.

    In super good news, we got our wedding albums, and they're beauuuuutiful.

    This weekend I want to change my clothes out because I think it's finally cold enough to do it, and I want to cull some more of my clothes . Seriously, I have way too many. I already have one big stack, but I NEED to get rid of more.

    Also, I got that mini bike thing in the mail, and I don't know what I think of it. I tried it out at home, and the thing is, it moves. like, forward. It's too light. I think it will need to be placed against something that is fixed and won't move, like a wall or a piece of furniture. I'll try it out tonight and see. I still haven't decided if I want to keep it at home or at work. I'm guessing work would be more productive because I'm never at home, and when I am, I'm usually running around cleaning the house or cooking dinner, or I'm sleeping. Do you think I'll look like a pscyho pedalling away at work? Sadly, I don't really care much if I look like a psycho, as long as I look like a skinny psycho. Now that it's fall and I can't wake up and I'm taking three classes 'till nine at night, my free time to workout is shot. I need to bring it in.

    Ok, that's it! I'm going to eat lunch, finish up my midterm, and go for my walk, in that order!

    To do:
    1. Finish midterm. (I only have one question left, and then I have to edit the answers to the other two questions)
    2. Walk for 30+ minutes
    3. Read for class for 30+ minutes
    4. If I have time, do 30 minutes of annual report
    5. EMAIL MIDTERM AT 3:30!!!!!
    At home:
    6. Do 3x12 squats
    7. Give Mugs his heartworm pill
    8. If I have time, do a few sets of bench press and bent rows.
    9. Measure out brown rice and water for D to put in the rice cooker for dinner.
