    Blah.

    Wednesday. I want to go hoooooome.

    I just got paid; the I paid my bills, and it's alllll gone. *shrugs*

    The wonder of it is that it's October, which is that it's one of two magical months where I get paid threeee times, and I'm proctoring, which means I'll have no problem cleaning up the mess from my recent shopping indiscretions. HAHA...

    I have company coming today for like the third time in a month, and I have to say that I'm just not interested. It's my one day during the week that I have off from class, and I just feel like lounging around. I don't feel like entertaining anyone. He's been coming up because he's in the process of testing to become a corrections officer, and all the testing and interviewing is here in Albany, so he's been here alot, and he's nice, and he's family and all, I'm just not feeling it.

    Whatever.

    So work's been kinda blah lately, and I'm fine with that. I squeezed in that thirty minute upper body workout yesterday, and I'm glad I did because I didn't end up being able to squeeze in any walks or anything because work blew up at the last minute. I'm going to go for a walk here soon, and then I'm going home to snuffle Mug, who's sick with an ear infection. Poor puppy! = ( I hate it when my Mugs is sick.

    Yesterday, Mike, our former housemate came to visit and play video games. Apparently, that is the only way that he will visit us, which is kind of weird, but whatever. We were very happy to see him. Yesterday, I ate too much because I had about 200 calories worth of snacks after dinner. Tonight, I will have no post dinner snacks.

    Before company comes, I'm going to the gym. I intend to do the elliptical for about 40 minutes, and then I want to do lower body weights.

    Today:
    Bfast: low fat string cheese
    Lunch: 1 cup lentil soup
    Snack: 1.5 cups strawberries
    Snack: maybe another 1/2 cup of soup
    Dinner: grilled marinated chicken, salad, baked beans

    So I've been drinking two shots of pomegranite juice every day this week, and my skin seems glowier. I cant' decide if it's all the strawberries I've been eating, or the lentil soup (which is full of carrots, tomatoes, spinach, celery, onions, garlic, and lentils- all good for you!), or the pomegranite juice. It's probably a combination? Either way, I think I'll keep up the pomegranite juice because it's a nice, easy dose of antioxidants.

    So at work today, D sent me an email saying that some horrible, evil, vile person abandoned these angels...

    on the side of the road, and that someone found them and that they were up for adoption.

    How could anyone abandon those precious puppies???? Look at those little faces! I could hardly imagine that anyone could be so cruel. Due to the size of my apartment, I am in no position to adopt another dog, but even so, I was thisclose. No worries, though....they all got adopted within a matter of minutes of that heartmelting photo being emailed around. Isn't that person a monster?! I still can't come to terms with it. UGH!

    On a side note, I am loving Kheils new line of lip glosses. They are unstoppable! They are super moisturizing; they are full of antioxidants; the colors are lovely, and they smell delicious. Mmmm. This has definitely found a permanent place in my purse.

    Ok, I'm going for my walk outside....
