    Time Event
    11:50a
    Big Emmys Post
This may be the worst photo ever taken of Ellen Pompeo. The hair. The curtain tassle around her neck. The dress, which didn't appear to fit on top. The ...skin? Makeup?

Apparently, Paula Abdul was going for the wardrobe malfunction look.

Minnie Driver looks stunning. It takes an impeccable figure to look good in a dress like that. I also love the cut!

Mary-Louise Parker -Why? Love the color on her, but that dress does her no favors because it hits her in ALL the wrong places.

Laura Bennett, of PR fame, was known for always designing for herself. That being said, I've seen her design way hotter shit than this. I give her points for being fashion forward and taking a risk and for looking fab post-baby, but I do not like this much.

Speaking of PR, Heidi Klum killed it. She looks sensational here.

Eva Longoria looks pretty here, but I would have gone for a slightly different cut. This dress makes her look a little thick or straight or soemthing.

Vanessa Williams looks? Interesting? I'm torn. She's on a show with Tim Gunn, which means I should say she looks amazing, but for some reason the mint green feathers aren't quite doing it for me. Fashion fofward? Yes. The color would probbably work on her too, sans the feathers. I think all together it's too much.

Rebecca Romijn looks pretty here. The dress is a departure from all the LBDs and goddess dresses, and it's just different enough. Very pretty. The hair is a little robotic looking though.

Kathering Heigl- okay, I know I'm going to get strung up on this one, but I'm not a huge fan. I think this dress makes her ass look HUGE, at least in this photo at this angle. I also don't like her braceletts. I think some platinum/diamond/ruby deco sort of bracelet would have looked hot.

Teri Hatcher looks nice, but boring.

Ali Larter looks pretty in red. I like that she keeps it simple in this one, as heavy accessories, hair, or makeup would have looked like too much with the red satin.

Christina Aguilera is seriously concealing in this dress!

Padma Lakshmi has a hot figure and a boring dress. She looks...nice.

Jamie Pressly just had a baby and looks great. I like the deco vibe she has going on here, and she gets points for doing something different. At least she looks like she's trying to bring the glam to the Emmys.

Hayden Panettiere looks like she got attacked by a really ugly set of sheets that almost matches her skin color. GAG.

Kate Walsh looks pretty here, but this dress is boring. I probably could have bought this dress for $150 at the mall. BTW, who is Kate Walsh?

Sally Field- beautiful color, graceful & flattering cut, totally age appropriate without being stodgy and boring.

America Ferrera looks like she's going to pass out from lack of oxygen. Seriously. She needs a size up. That beign said, she looks sensational in that color, even if she looks like she's about to turn that color herself.

Kirsten Bell looks pretty. Nice color, nice cut, but she could have used some accessories, some kinda bling, something.

Marcia Cross looks gorgeous as usual. Her figure looks sensational, and she gets serious points for wearing something original. I would have liked some waves or something in her hair though.

    Jamie-Lynn Sigler looks pretty.

Jennifer Love Hewitt? WTF? No, seriously. She looks like she lost 40 lbs overnight or like someone stuck a five year old picture on this site.

Edie Falco looks like she got attacked by a can of whipped cream. That being said, she has a fab figure.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus- no, no, no, no. This dress makes her look stubby and thick..

Portia de Rossi looks amaaaazing. I love the color, the cut, the bling, the hair, everytyhing about this look. Also, I seriously want her hair.

Sandra Oh has an unbelievably small waist and a very boring outfit.

Tina Fey has picked the worst possibly dress for her figure. A different color would have been great, or maybe something in something of an A-line because she has a pretty straight figure...or maybe something that showed a bit of leg...or soemthing...else.

Debra Messing looks really good here; she knows how to dress for her figure. Nice use of accessories.

Jenna Fischer's dress is inexcusable. It looks like she got caught in a gold lame spray paint fight and lost.

    Recap!
It's a beautiful, flawless September day, maybe 73 degrees. Blue, cloudless sky.

The heat is on in my office, and it's a million degrees in here. And we wonder why the taxes are so damn high. Seriously. Of course I can't adjust the heat myself, so I have all the windows open so I really am just forcing money out the window. Viva the budget deficit.

So let's do a workout recap:
    Wednesday: elliptical, lower body weights
Thursday: did 45 minutes of Core Complete workouts.
    Friday: ran for 30 minutes
Saturday: weight workout- whole body (great workout- I was totally sore!)
Sunday: 40 mins on elliptical, walked with Mugs and D for about 20 minutes or so
Monday: ran for 30 minutes, did an extra lap!

And I'm about to walk 30 minutes outside.

Tomorrow: 20 minutes pilates, 30 minute walk during lunch
Wednesday: 35 minutes on elliptical, weights- lower body
Thursday: off- walk for 30 minutes during lunch.
    Friday: run for 30 minutes

I probably won't get any exercise all weekend because I'm going down to NYC for a Cure concert and for my friend's party. Anyhow, I plan on staying with my friend who eats nothing and is transparently thin, so hopefully food will be good at least. Maybe we'll even go for a run together or do some yoga or something. Who knows?

I'm still feeling gross and bloated from the weekend. Today's mission: drink until I float.

On the upside, all this exercise has me feeling really good and way less stressed out. Endorphins are awesome. Plus, stress makes you fat, so more working out=less stress=less cortisol= less fat? That sounds like good math, right? Hopefully soon I will look as good as I feel....Right now it's all about my thighs and butt and...well, I guess it's mostly about those. I just want to cut them off. I'm still hoping that all this running and weight training will tone them up and burn the flab off, otherwise I'm thinking if I combine a straw and a vaccuum cleaner, maybe I can do a home lipo job. Probably a bad idea, right?

Anyhow, after I get back from my walk, I'm thinking I'll do some reading for class, and maybe, just maybe, I'll do some time sheets. Maybe.

I'm so happy I get paid this week.

    Food for today:
Bfast: super small sugar free pumpkin tart made by me (it rhymes)
Lunch: 1 cup of brown rice/quinoa/lentil/pea/mushroom/sun dried tomato pilaf (gotta love left overs)
    Snack: raw broccoli
    Snack: low fat string cheese
    Dinner: ???
