Okay.
After venting yesterday, I actually felt a lot better.
I cleaned up around the house. Cleaned up the kitchen. Cleaned up the bathroom.
I read two chapters for today's class.
Being productive helps me; just the feeling of having something crossed off my list...the feeling that some things are in order.
I did 20 minutes of yoga and 20 mintues of pilates, and that really cleared my head and made me feel a bit better.
I had some chamomile tea.
It was good.
Exercise really does make me feel better, not okay, but better, and while I try to deal with all this and sort it all out, I'll have to settle with that and just do what I can to feel better, relax, and relieve stress.
Whether I feel like it or not, I NEED to exercise; endorphins are amazing.
Tonight I have class, so I need to do something. I think I'll go for a 30 minute walk now, and then I'll go home a little early and do a weight routine which will focus on major muscle groups- I'll probably do 3x12 squats, bench press, and bent rows to hit legs, chest, and lats. Tomorrow, I'm going to go runnning or do something in the morning.
I need to eat better. Yesterday was bad. I haven't been eating enough.

Today: Bfast: 2 eggs scrambled with a tons of Swiss chard Lunch: salad with a few pieces of roasted turkey breast Snack: 2 kiwis Snack: low fat string cheese Dinner: pot roast w/ beef, carrots, and baked potato
Tomorrow: Bfast: 2 eggs scrambled with a tons of Swiss chard Lunch: salad with a few pieces of roasted turkey breast Snack: 1 cup strawberries Snack: low fat string cheese Dinner: chicken cassarole- skinless chicken breast, brown rice, peas & carrots, broccoli, fat free cream of chicken soup, low fat cheese
Wednesday: Bfast: salmon pattie Lunch: hard boiled egg, 1 cup strawberries Snack: low fat string cheese Bvg: V8 Dinner: Falafel (I've decided to start having between 1-2 vegetarian dinners per week again.) |
