I just did the world's longest update, and my computer spazzed and deleted it.
Grrrrr.......
I'm too lazy to rewrite it in its lengthy glory, so I'm going to bottom line it for everyone.
1. Period was light. I tested. I am not pregnant. I am relieved. 2. D and I decided to plan. We will try Jan-March. This will result in optimal delivery time. Planning in general will result in less stress for me because I'm a control freak, and I spazz at life changing surprises. Planning will make this much better for me, and I have lots of time to adjust to the idea, which should prevent a psychological break. 3. D and I bought a Wii. It is awesome. I have several games. I like the tennis game and the boxing game in the Sports Pack, and yes, it really is good exercise. 4. This weekend we proctored. It sucked, but I made money. I will spend it on clothes. I read the 3rd Harry Potter. Yes, I am really behind. We saw Mike and his girlfriend. We hadn't seen him since March. He came over because we have a Wii. Really. 5. I did the elliptical for 45 mins on Sunday, and I ran for 30 mins today. 6. Diet and exercise rules can be summarized as folllows: Running 2x, elliptical 1x, full body weights 2x (gym or home). pilates/yoga 1hr dvd a week & 15 mins pilates abs 3x a week, 2 days rest. Food: 2 servings fresh fruit a day to be eaten with protein to minimize insulin spike. Focus on lean protein. Starches only with dinner. Reincorporate healthy foods that I cut because I'm insane, and I freaked out about either sodium, carbs, calories, or fat, but the foods are nutritionally very beneficial, and I should eat them in limited amounts. Include them between 1-2x a week. These foods include: pumpkin seeds 2x, white or sweet potatoes w/ skin 1-2x, V8-unlimited, and avocados-2x. As always, more water. D has agreed that in order to lose weight and save money, we should drink no more than 2x a week. We currently drink (not necessarily to drunken excess) about 4 times a week, which is expensive in terms of calories and money. Reducing our alcohol consumption should be incredibly helpful. 7. School starts today. This makes me sad, but it is good because I will be busier, which is good because D is super busy with work, law review, and school. The old saying "first year they scare you to death, then they work you to death, and then they bore you to death" seems to be true. We are both looking forward to the last part. School will result in less pouting on my part; I pout shamelessly whenever he abandons me for the library. School...GRRR. Good news is that I graduate next December.
