mini update. I'm feeling too lazy to update about my vaca, but I will tomorrow.
Right now, I'm playing catch up with the usual.
Yesterday, I hit the gym while I was waiting for the mechanic to fix the car, which cost SO MUCH MONEY that I want to tear my hair out. Awesomeness. I did 40 mins on the elliptical, and I walked for 2 miles.
D is sick today and went to the doctor, so I missed my pilates class. BOO! Poor D. It sucks to be sick in August. I made him some of my "get better" soup, and I hope it helps him out, both for his sake and mine. I swear the only thing worse than getting sick is to have you bf/fiance/husband/significant other get sick. When he gets a cold, it's like he has ebola or tb or some other horrible thing. It's kind of endearing, but still.....
I actually went to work today, and it's dead boring.
Today: Bfast: a mega ton of strawberries, 1 cup light vanilla soy milk Snack: 1 turkey breakfast sausage Lunch: 2. 5 cups of homemade chicken and veggie soup Snack: 1 kiwi Dinner: 1 small steak, veggielicious salad Snack (optional): 1 low fat string cheese
And now, I'm going for a 30 minute walk, so I can burn some cals. I'm feeling beyond bloated today. I'm hoping I can squeeze in an hour long pilates dvd when I get home.

While I didn't really gain much weight (maybe 2lbs), I feel beyong guilty for not exercising, and I feel sludgy from eating so differently from my normal routine. So yeah, my plan at the moment is to avoid starches as much as possible, focus on lean protein and low carb produce. Wahoo.... |
