    Time Event
    1:49p
Ok, so I'm officially cutting back the alcohol.
    It's gotta happen.
There have been too many parties and the lack of a need to get to work on time has just led to too much drinking, and all the working out in the world isn't going to help me lose weight if I continue to drink so much.

No more than three drinking days a week. Period.

Until I lose weight. Then I can have a bit more wiggle room.

Eating has been really good lately, but unfortnately, I'm bloated all to hell from PMS, and it SUCKS. I feel like a total wildabeast. I'm grossness incarnate.

I'm gonna keep working out like crazy though. I figure after two or three weeks, I'll actually see real results, and that will be so motivating. Drinking less will help to speed things along too. I'm going to be fit and hot.

So the new diet plan is...

Friday was good. D and I did weights, and later, we went to my parents' house for dinner. My great aunt Stella and my second cousin (Stella's daughter) Kim were there, which was nice. They don't come up that often, so it was fun to see them. We all had a good time. Lots of white wine and bean salads and rice pilafs and turkey. For once, there were no complaints from me in the food department. Hurray! Dinner with mom, and I didn't feel bad about it. There's one for the record books, hmmm?

Saturday we went to the gym for a brief cardio session, and then we just kind of bummed around without being too productive, which was nice. D and I went out to dinner at this Mediterranean place, and it was to die for. It was all homemade, and the hummus and the grape leaves were seriously divine. Good times! Then, talk about a blast from the past, D finally decided to check his voicemail (we're both so bad about that), and lo and behold, April (our old roommate Mike's ex girlfriend and sometime roommate) was in town, so she stopped by. It was cool to see her again, and she seems like she's doing well.

On Sunday, D had to go to the library because he's trying to write on to Law Review via the writing competition. Basically, Albany Law has three types of Law Review, which you can qualify for through class rank or by competing in the competition. He already qualified for government law review, but the most prestigious of the three is law review, so he's doing the competition...anyways, he went to the library. I went for a forty minute walk by myself because it was sooooo nice outside, and then I came back and got Mugs and took him for a thirty minute walk in the park, which he looooooved. Then I came back, and Bill and I ran a zillion errands. We went to Home Depot to get chicken wire to protect my tomato plant from pests, and then we went to the mall. I hate the mall. Bah. I returned a pair of shorts to Banana Republic because they were hideous, and I didn't buy anything! I know! I even had a $50 gift card, and I didn't buy anything...mostly because I felt too fat, and I want to wait a few weeks after the fitness plan starts working, and then I'll spend it...Then, I went to GNC to pick up more fishoil because I'm still boycotting drugstore.com because they suck. Then we went to Sbarro's where Bill ate a huge slice of pepperoni pizza while I stared at it, eating nothing. Then I went and got an iced coffee with a dash of skim milk and a sugar free vanilla shot...mmmmm..Then I went and bought birthday cards for my dad and D's mom, and then, we finally left. Afterwards, we had our magical turkey burgers that I wrote about on the community page. Then we watched a bunch of TV, which can I say, TV is kind of screwed up now? We watched the Simpsons, Family Guy, and some show called the Loop, which was kind of funny. They made fun of fat people, gay people, and a guy in a fat suit was getting a blow job in an airplane bathroom...and it was before 9pm, which is like...family...tv. Isn't it? I mean, I thought it was funny, but it would be awkward explaining to my kid what a blow job was after watching a sitcom. Anyhow, it was weird, but funny.

My dad's birthday is tomorrow, and I don't have to buy him a present because I spent way too much on his father's day present when I bought him some sort of saw on a table...a miter saw? It's a miracle that I managed to get the right one. I know nothing about that stuff. Anyhow, for his birthday, he wants a cherry pie. I hate cherries, and there's nothing I hate more than cherry pie, so I don't have to worry about eating ti. Ha! I already called the bakery and ordered one. If they have berry tarts, I might get a tiny one for yours truly. Maybe.

I read that drinking a cup of chamomile tea a day for a few days before your period will significantly reduce cramps. I think I'm gonna try it.

And now, I'm going for my walk.

    Visits and stuff
Today Liz came over! Liz is one of my two or three actual in person female friends who lives in the state, and like all of them, I see her like three times a year.

    Today was one of them.

It was awesome to see her, but at the same time, she was totally terrifying me.

She's seven months pregnant, and she is totally reinforcing every fear I have about being pregnant. I am...terrified. I mean...seriously. I was unconsciously clenching the left side of my jaw, and it started to kill me, and my whole head started to hurt. How crazy is that? I'm insane. I'm insane, and I'm never going to be right.

Anyhow, it was good to see her and have an interaction with one of my friends.

I had a cup of light soy milk when I got home, and for dinner I had 1.5 chicken fajitas, which were made using skinless chicken breast, fat free refried beans, low carb/low cal/low fat fajitas, veggies, low fat sour cream, and low fat cheese...of course.

Then I picked at pieces of chicken because I was craving protein.

Because I'm never really hungry, I never really know when the right full is, and I always stop too soon or too late. I think I did pretty well today.

Then I had a sugar free fudgesicle to stop noshing on chicken, and then I had a cup of twig tea. Miraculously, this stopped my noshing. I think I did well.

I have a conference call at 10am, which means I have to miss my pilates class, which pisses me off. It sucks because it's a Gov. Ops. issue, which means Cheryl should be there, not me. Boo. Hiss. Hmph.
