Hello, I am writing because of my order 03124802808500, which was resent to me after my initial order never arrived. While I did receive my drugstore.com order today, it was packed in a garbage bag, and it contained a soaked paper towel, and a number of extremely unusual objects which I did not order. I didn't receive the Burt's Bees rescue ointment, and my Seventh Generation Shower cleaner was broken. I received all of the other items that I ordered. In addition to the items that I ordered, I also received the following: 1.a used pedometer 2. one crushed tea light candle 3. two used, rusty caribiner clips 4. an open package of brass screw hooks 5. a large plaster hook with paint and plaster on it 6. an odd small, plastic item with a picture of Willy Nelson (I'm really not sure what it is...it mighteven be some other person..we really can't tell 7. an open, used container of Anbesol 8. an open spray container of lens cleaner 9. a key ring with a "Batz" corporation tag 10. a partially burned orange birthday candle; and last but not least 10. toe nail clippers, which were uncontained and probably used
I have taken photographs of these items, and I will forward them to your customer service department. This is the oddest thing I have ever experienced as a customer, and I am especially disturbed that some of the items, namely the used Anbesol and toe nail clippers, are possibly unhygenic and may constitute a threat to health. I find it frightening that my order was full of dirty, used materials that were either included as a prank or the intentional or accidental inclusion of garbage in my order. Either way this borders on tampering. I can't imagine that someone would be so thoughless. Even if this was accidental, how difficult would it be to pick the trash out of my order before sending it to me in a garbage bag. The inclusion of trash in my order makes me rethink the idea of ordering online or at the very least from drugstore.com.
Please let me know how this could have happened, what immediate steps will be taken to correct the situation, and why my family should remain customers of drusgstore.com? Sincerely, Nichole ---- |
