Ahhhh... Tuesday.
In all likelihood, I wil be here until 8-9 ( I stopped here at about 5 or so..)
It is now 8, so it looks like my prediction was good.
I'm ummm...?
Tired? Check. Feeling like my drain has evaporated? Check. Wishing I could actually be done with the Gov. Ops committee? Check. Annoyed that my hearing went like crap today when my Chair totally tore in to another committee Chair who was testifying at the hearing, which is totally unheard of and very bad form? Check.
Whatever. It's like another seven working days, and this will be OVER! I will be FREE! I will get a pedicure! I will work out as much as I want! I will sleep in! I will leave at five...if I even come in to work! I will spend time outdoors! I will hang out with my dog! I will read books for pleasure! I will become fluent in Arabic and Mandarin Chinese! (Okay, so I'm getting a weeee bit over ambitious with that last one...)

I'm so boring. I've been spending so much time at work, I have no nonwork stuff to write about...
I guess I can write about shopping?
I've been doing so much online shopping lately. I am a bad.person.
I got: 1. 2 Henkel knives on sale at Macy's. Good knives are life changing. Seriously, cutting with my santoku is a religious experience. Plus, it came with some free chopping boards or something? 2. From Banana: 1 red t shirt dress, 1 little brown wristlet because I hate carrying things, and 1 cute pair of quasi-dressy shorts. 3. From Urban Outfitters: a tube top that matches ohaiyogozaimasu and something else? a shirt or something? 4. Five million bras and undies from VS. Like once or twice a year, I do a mega shop. This was mega shop part deu.
I almost bought stuff from Anthropologie, but I stopped myself. Restraint, right?
Whatever.
So I proctored on Saturday, which now seems like forever ago. It sucked, but it wasn't too bad, because as usual, I was a hall monitor, so I got to get paid to read books. YES. I read Vonnegut's Sirens of Titan. Very good book, but like all of KV's books, a bit sad. I also read about half of Inverview With a Vampire, which is obviously a fun read. We worked from 6am-6pm, so obviously the preceeding Friday and the rest of Saturday were kind of shot. On Sunday, we slept in, had breakfast, went to the gym, and then did boring productive crap around the house. The gym part was good. I did upper body weights, abs on the ball, and 35 mins on the elliptical. I really need to mix it up a bit.
I can't believe today is Tuesday. For whatever reason, I feel like it's either Monday or Wednesday, mostly because today mushed into yesterday so it would make sense that it is Monday, and two days mushing together could make it seem so long that it is in fact Wednesday. I am retarded.
And my feet hurt from those damn shoes! Ouch!
Yesterday I did a bunch of stretching, but I didn't have time to walk or anything...boo hiisss...another 12 hour day.
Today I went for a walk for about....20-30 minutes for my lunch break, and I walked to work, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. I am so lame.
I've been eating like...crap? Maybe not crap per se, but I've been undeating because of work, but for the most part I've kind of sporadically been making up for it with drinking.
Today: Bfast: banana Lunch: 1/4c pepitas Snack: 1 cheese cube and a handful of raw veggies Snack: 1 cracker with spray cheese Dinner: (which I haven't had yet) pot roast with roasted potatoes, carrots, and sweet potatoes
I intended to throw an orange in there, but I wasn't at my desk long enough to eat it.
Yesterday was the same but a bit better: Bfast: banana Lunch: salad with lots of chick peas and cheese and chicken. Read: fattening, but nutritious! Snack: none? Dinner: chicken, brown rice, some corn and peas with fat free cream of chicken.
The slow cooker rocks.
My assistant thought we were done, but....apparently, due to an oversight, we're not. *dies*
Update, we can do it tomorrow! *comes back to life and doesn't die*
