Somewhere with D...that serves wine. 3. Last time you puked from drinking? Years ago. I honestly can't remember...it's not because I drink less. I think I'm just used to it. 4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar? For some reason, by the time I'm drunk enough to want to dance on a bar, my balance is always impaired enough that I know it would be a bad idea, so I've never done it. This is probably for the best. 5. What is the name of your second grade teacher? Mrs.Webb. 6. What do you really want to be doing right now? Go back to bed and read Atlas Shrugged. 7. What did you want to be when you were growing up? I wanted to be a pediatric neuro oncologist ( I was a very precocious eight year old). Then I wanted to be an actress. All along though, what I really wanted to be was a SPY! Actually, I still want to be a spy. 8. How many colleges did you attend? Just one for undergrad, just one for grad school. Changing schools brings high switching costs. 9. Why did you wear the shirt that you have on right now? It's comfortable to sleep in. On a side note, I've had this shirt since fifth grade. 10. GAS PRICES First thought? I hate them! I want to buy a hybrid and stick it to the Linda (or man for the rest of you who aren' in on this) 11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you, where would you and who would you take? I'd move to a beach in Mexico and open up a luxury day spa on the beach and live in a hammock forever. I'd bring D! 12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning? Must...sleep...more. 13. Last thought before going to sleep last night? How I didn't want to go to work. 14. Favorite style of underwear? I like the low rise bikinis from Victoria Secret, but not the string. Those stupid underwear bunch weirdly and migrate. 15. Favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex? Boxers. 16. What errand/chore do you despise? I seriously hate folding and putting away the laundry, and I really hate grocery shopping. 17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer at an art gallery? Maybe. Depends on which gallery and what they showed in it. 18. Get up early or sleep in? Always sleep in. I don't know that it's a favorite, but when it's on, I watch that lame Salma Hayek Matthew Perry movie. I can't remember what it's called, but people make fun of it if they catch me...oh! It also helps if he's hot. 35. What Hollywood star do you think resembles you best? Someone once told me Charlize Theron in An Astronaut's Wife, but I think he was drunk. Others have said Natalie Portman, but I think that is a serious, serious reach. So... I don't know. 36. If you had to pick one, which cast member of Lost would you be? I've never seen it. 37. What do you want when you are sick? Sleep, be pampered, watch movies. 38. Who from high school would you like to run into? Eh? That just sounds annoying. 39. What radio station is your car/house radio tuned to right now? I don't know? THere's nothing playing here, and D has the car. 42. Norm or Cliff? Norm on the show. 43. The Cosby Show or the Simpsons? I thought the Simpsons was funnier. 44. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back? I'm not sure. 45. Do you like the person who sits directly across from you at work? Across? Jeff? I have nothing against Jeff. He's pretty nice. 46. If you could get away with it, whom would you kill? Mwahahahaha 47. What famous person would you like to have dinner with? I...don't know. I'd have Jon Stewart over because he's funny. I'd have Tim Gunn over because I love him. I'd have Kevin Spacey and Ed Norton over because they're good actors. I'd have...Brad Pitt over because he's hot. I'd have Angelina Jolie over because she's hot too, and she's a good actress. I guess I'd have Meryl Streep over too for the good actress part. 48. What famous person would you like to sleep with? Brad Pitt is really hot, but I don't know if we would have good chemistry. 49. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?? No, but I haven?t used it for any other purpose either. I have one though! |
| 10:41a | TGIF Today is Friday, and I feel like SLACKING! This is problematic because I am actually supposed to do work today. Yesterday did suck, as predicted. That sexual harassment, ethics, and diversity training thing was a joke. We came up with a bunch of generalization about how diversity is good (women are nicer than men, and men can change the water for the water cooler! GAH! I change the water. People are lame.), and then we talked about how important it is to get rid of generalizations and stereotypes. It was all very stupid, and my brain hurt by the time it was over. Seriously. I realize that the Legislature wants to protect itself from law suits, but I feel like I deserve a waiver. I'm a caucasian chick who was raised Catholic, whose Dad was in the military, who lived in Korea for two years, lived all over the country, worked in a Korean restaurant, who has a ton of gay friends, who married a Jewish guy, and whose 3 bridesmaids were a black bisexual girl, a black girl in the military, and a Jewish girl. I could have taught that stupid class. Psssshhh.... Anyways....that sucked. The presentation..I thought it went well, but the professor hates my partner, and found stupid reasons to nit-pick at us, despite the fact that no one else's presentation was any better, and no one asked any questions of anyone else. Our product was a board game...nice low overhead, easy to produce...ya know? They were all like...why don't you create an online fully interactive Sims version??? That would cost a FORTUNE. What? Like I'm a software developer? Like I have 50-100k to pay a software developer to create something like that? I think I might be able to borrow between 5-10k to print 2,500 board games, but come on people. All I have to say is that I'm really, really, really happy that the semester is over. Our air vents are making this really obnoxious noise. My iPod blocks everything out though, so it's okay. Today it was so cold out that my face hurt. Poor D is really worried about his law school finals. I'm worried about the party. I'm thinking the silver and black polka dot dress, but it's online, and I've never worn that brand, so I'm worried about how it will look on. I can't look fat in it. GAH! ACK! Stress? | 10:48a | And two other things! Oh, and another thing. I recently read this stupid article about "Frugal Fanny" and how she's super awesome for saving so much money. Frugal Fanny makes $65K a year and spends $800 a month on groceries. WTF? I imagine it would be pretty easy to save money when you make 65K a year. I thought it was the stupidest, most insulting article ever, so I actually wrote them a nasty email about it. Another thing that I thought was funny...D and I were watching this documentary about the KKK, and the guy was all like..."we'll do whatever is necessary to blah blah blah ensure white power..blah blah whatever necessary..." They also lit the cross while playing Amazing Grace. Anyone else find it ironic that the KKK was quoting Malcom X to espouse white power and that they lit the cross to a song that is considered to be an anti-racist song? The song was in fact written by a former slave trader who converted to Christianity and later repented his slave trading ways. The KKK is really, really, really stupid.
