The weekend is pretty good so far!
D and I spent a TON of time cleaning up yesterday. Because we're always so busy, we're never around to clean up, so we really had to tackle it yesterday. We vaccuumed, cleaned and reorganized the bathroom, cleaned and reorganized the desk, switched out winter clothes, cleaned the kitchen, and cleaned up the dresser in our room. We had this big pile of stuff (does anyone else have huge piles of random, miscellaneous crap that you can't throw away but don't know why?), and we threw tons of it out! It was awesome. Seriously t hough, where does that crap come from?? Impressive! The house actually looks good.
We still need to:
1. Steam the kitchen and bathroom floors
2. Change the sheets
3. Clean the comforter
4. Dust
5. Clean the tablecloth
6. Clean the fishtank, which is incredibly, incredibly gross
Then the house will be perfect! (for ten minutes...*sigh*
We ordered Indian delivery last night- yum! It wasn't super good for us, but we split malai kofta (my fave veg. Indian entre) and chicken curry. We only finished one container of rice, and we wplit an assorted veg. appetizer.
Good times! On Friday, we went out for that dinner (thanks for the recommendations!!) to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I decided to have no appetizers, 1/2 a beer, and I went for the sirloin. I try to have steak once a month or so because my blood is like water. It was really, really good, and I was so full, that I didn't end up ordering dessert like everyone else, so I think in the end, I came out ahead. After that, we went to a really trendy club in town,
Noche, and it was really cool. We had a few low cal type drinks, and then we left. It was nice though!
Today, I think we're going to have to do the thank yous and...I don't know what else? Maybe go shopping? I do have TWO br gift cards, and we do need to pick up a present for D's dad's bday. Today I'm doing pilates no what. I actually, miraculously, do NOT feel fat today. It's amazing! I also need to deep condition and make soups....I'm thinking split pea. Soup is the key. I'm sure of it!
I'm going to drink a mega ton of water today.
I suck. I'm only going to quit coffee during the week. During the weekends, it's just necessary!!
