    Time Event
    9:12p
    weight, soup, exercise, money.
    Nothing too exciting.

    A nice, quiet weekend.

I've been doing a good bit of walking on my mom's treadmill, about 2.3-2.5 miles a day. The cool thing about treadmills is that you can adjust the incline, which gives a far better workout.

I just made a soup!! Low fat/low sodium chicken broth, chicken breast, diced tomatoes, carrots, lentils, spinach, lots of spices...Very, very healthy. Soups are one of the best ways ever to get tons of liquids, veggies, and protein all in one fell swoop. I think they're half the reason I always get to my skinniest in the fall. Winter has too many holidays; summer has too much drinking. Spring I have no time to work out. I'm always skinniest in fall! I think I'm going to start making at least one soup a week again. < : )

I'm bored, so I think I'm going to do some pilates and yoga.

I have tomorrow off as well, so I'm going to walk another 2.5 miles and do some more pilates and yoga (different workouts though..). Wednesday we'll go to the gym. I've decided to really, really push the exercise end of things. I don't want my cals to dip too low, and I think if I exercise enough it will prevent me from having too much food guilt if I screw up/have fun. I think exercise is the key to keeping the weight off long term and reviving my diet addled metabolism.

I also need to work on my water intake; on days when I'm not at work, I'm really, really, really bad about drinking enough water. Plus, whenever I can't be in my routine, I don't do well. Whine, whine, whine. Either way, I think I'm beginning to look better. I have a new battery for my scale at home to make sure I'm actually looking better and making real progress.

We received our phyiscal proofs and our cds, and we picked out our wedding album!! *Does happy dance! LOVES IT!

In non food news, other stuff is shaping up well too! I have been saving a little bit out of each pay check, and it's really added up! I should have enough $$ to pay for all my holiday shopping in CASH this year! Plus, I get to deposit my student loans and pay off all of one credit card and most of another. I'm also expecting my next paycheck to be nice due to our annual 3% retroactive raise, so I can use that to pay some other stuff off, and hopefully I'll get my tuition reimbursement so I can pay down the private student loans that I refinanced on a 0% card (Hate, hate, hate student loans...) Plus, in November I get three paychecks, which I'll use to shop, and I'll put a bit aside to pay off a month or so's student loan payments when they come due again in January. Bottom line? Things are going pretty well for the moment, and I will soon be debt free and prepared for the holidays, which is exactly what I wanted considering D just quit his job, the fact that my health insurance premiums will double (for adding D), and the fact that I'll have two student loans instead of one to pay come January. Don't want to hit a sitch like that in anything other than perfect form. Now that'sfinancial planning.

    Current Mood: calm
