    Time Event
    10:38a
    I can't believe I'm back at worrrrrrk
    Tired, tired, tired.

This weekend was a huge time sink, and not much of anything got done. We did manage to get some of our new stuff from my parents' house when we went up for dinner yesterday, but...we have nowhere to put ANY of it. I guess that's a pretty small problem to have, but still.

D started law school today! I can't even believe it. I miss him already! Actually though, I really do. It sucks not being able to hang out with him at work anymore. : (

    Ho hum.

In other news, class starts in a few weeks. I have to use what time I have left to really kick off my weight loss. I can't deal with the current state of things. I'm really pushing the water and small snacks, and I'm really trying to shift everything earlier.

We got our upstairs neighbor evicted. Basically, she had a dog. She was never there to the point where we've never even seen the girl or the dog, and there was always this horrible, disgusting smell in the hall eminating from her apartment. We felt it was animal neglect, so eventually after something from their floor started to seep through our ceiling we decided it was time to call, and WOW am I glad we did. The dog was taken, and the place was such a hole, such a disgusting mess, that the cops said that they had a few days to gut the apartment, or the whole building would be declared a biohazard and would have to be empty until it was safe to be inhabited again. No.Joke. Keep in mind this happened the week of the wedding when we had about five people staying at our house. Argh. I couldn't make this shit up, I swear. We went up there (with masks) to help take pics and to satisfy our curiousity. There was a sawed off shotgun. Drug paraphenalia. More dog waste than I can really mention in one blog entry. Dead rodents. It was totally trashed. Personally, I think the chick was using the apartment to store drugs. Someone who trashes a place and keeps a sawed off and a hungry pit bull is seriously trying to protect something if you ask me. Weird thing is, I live in a great building! Gorgeous apartments, credit checks, references, rent, deposits, rental insurance mandatory, the whole nine....Goes to show how much that stuff means, hm?

And they say New Yorkers never meet their neighbors.

That cool post it site is down. Hmph
    To do:
    1. Fill out time sheets. I have been putting this off FOREVER.
    2. Read stuff for hearing. *YAWN*
    3. Clean desk. It looks like a bomb hit it. Really.
    4. Finish and mail letter to Jason. I am the worst person to correspond with. Ever.
    5. Walk or do workout dvd. Yoga or pilates. I've been feeling drained lately.
    6. Go through gigantic mail pile at home.
    7. Play on internet. Alot.

    Longer term:
    8. Get new headphones for iPod.
    9. Write Great American Novel about the banalities and the empty promise of post modern life.

    photos and no productivity.
    Just curious:

Am I the only one who isn't sure how to approach this whole leggins/skinny jeans thing? I actually remember the 80s, and I think Nicole Richie and Kate Moss are pretty much the only people who can pull half this crap off without looking utterly ridiculous and FAT.

List update: I have completed #7....now...onto the rest....#1,3, 4 at least!

I think not having my tunes is putting a damper on my productivity.

The wedding pics came back. For the most part I like them...alot. I have one of us dancing as my wallpaper! I'll post them as soon as I know I'm infringing on a copyright or something.

I wish I didn't dislike pictures of myself so friggin much.

I just don't like the ones where I'm weirdly in profile or the candids where I'm making weird faces, which I am pretty much always doing. Something about 42 pages of photos on a Monday makes me feel like going under the knife in a major way. Wow, I can't wait to go home.

Yeah BDD. From here on out, I can avoid the camera FOREVER.

Honestly, I meant for this to be a neutral, if not a somewhat uplifting entry.

    Current Mood: sluggish
