I'm tired.

That...was a lie.

I'm not tired. My job is just annoying me a bit. That and I kinda hate three day weekends. It totally screws up all the stuff I have to do at work. Bleh. I have the same stuff to do, just less time in which to do it. Hopefully legislative session will end in a few weeks, and life can slow down a bit. I'm also annoyed because for the past several days, I've had to do someone else's job, despite being incredibly busy.

She was in Florida....during the busiest week of the year.

Grrrr....

and my stomach hurts.

I had lunch with Dan today, and lunch, of course, was a nonfat yogurt, which is all I ever really eat for lunch...that or a salad.

This other chick was there, and she's pretty thin...lost a fair amount of weight recently as a matter of fact, and she looks at me while she wolfs down her greek salad and fried phylo-dough-rific spinach pie and says,"So all you're eating is a yogurt? You must be so hungry. Why aren't you eating anything else?" Then of course Dan, and his boss, and everyone else gets on my case...Damn her. I generally just slip under the radar. I just started lying, told them all I ate doughnuts at some other meeting, and I wasn't hungry. I dislike lying, but they leave me no choice.

Hmph to them all.

I'm thinking about buying this hot bikini off the Victoria's Secret website. I have two perfectly good bikinis. I don't know what's possessing me to want more. Of course I'm such a psycho about my size (despite recent events), that I'm kind of paranoid about ordering any kind of clothing from the internet unless I've tried it on before. I'm so weird. *Sigh*

At the party this weekend we got some engagement presents/money! Wahoo!!! Dan wants to buy some boring nonsense like plates. I on the other hand want to buy some fabulous, gigantic frame celebrity, "Please hide me from the paparazzi" sunglasses. HA! Priorities.

I did at least get a $20 gift card from Banana Republic. Perhaps I can just console myself by buying some more stuff there, not that I ever need an incentive or anything. : )

I got paid today!!!

In other news, Dan and I have pretty much decided that we're going to buy some kind of house when the lease runs out, which is exciting, but somewhat scary. We'll see what happens.

Also, I GOT MY DRESS!!! There are no pics of it yet since it was new to the line, but as soon as they're available, I'll post them. :)
