I do believe I will take the invitation to go see Fox-Elipsus play at Borders tonight. I like the etheral properties of his composition, the sweet strength in his voice. He sounds quite a bit like Dave Gahan. He has requested my thoughts on his playlist tonight, I will gladly do so. | | 5:56p |
So, I was nice enough to offer to make those damn tissue paper flowers for Fiesta for the girls in my unit. I know I have a big roll of floral wire around here somewhere, but I cannot for the life of me find it. NOW I have to go to either Michael's or Hobby Lobby to buy pipe cleaners...I was trying desperately not to have to do that. There's no way they're getting them tomorrow.....I'm getting ready to leave for Borders and I don't know how long I'm staying. I'm sure as Hell not staying up 'til the wee hours making tissue paper flowers. They can have them on Monday. And really....Fiesta doesn't start until next weekend. Pfffft. Ciao | | 9:39p |
It was interesting to say the least. He had a tendency to ramble after each and every song. He did not sing ONE of my requests as he didn't have adequate time to prepare and he didn't want to "slaughter" any of them...especially "It's No Good." I didn't want him to slaughter that one either. I guess I will have to wait to hear it being sung to me by another (and waiting I have been ;-) )
Anyhoo, I bought one of his CDs for $10 and he signed every piece of paper and both CDs.....he kept telling me "you smell really nice" and asked for a hug because of such. That was kinda creepy.
I can think of much worse ways to spend a Thursday night.
