| 11:41 am | Honestly I need some attention. BAD. I loathe Fridays at work, they suck worse than any other day of the week and today is a prime example. I haven't gotten nice and buzzed in quite a while, and I just may take up the offer to go out tonight and do just that. I may come across some attention from a stranger, but hey, attention is attention and I'm going crazy over here. |

| 9:37 am | Well, you would think I would be all tired and groggy this morning....but I enjoyed a lot of sleep this long weekend so I am pretty refreshed. Actually, there is a lot to look forward to this week including only working half a day on Thursday and then being off on Friday. Today we are having lunch with our client to celebrate them renewing their contract with us for another 5 years!!!!!! Rock on. HUGE sigh of relief there :) Tonight I shall raise my glass to a little job security! |

| 7:44 pm | My mother and stepfather will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this November. I need to start looking into putting a little shindig together for the two love birds. So affectionate after all of this time, and I am sure this is the secret to their success. One day, when I have a lot of time to do so, I would like to tell their full story. Brief version: They dated in high school, he went off in the military, they both married someone else. Each marriage lasted 12+ years, kids, etc. Both very unhappy. They never lost track of each other over all of those years and reconnected. They found that they each had what the other had needed all along. Here we are 25 years later. Good story. |

| 6:38 am | The dealio I still have 7 days to play around with. But, I took off a shitload of Fridays. June 26, every Friday in July (except the 10th), only August 14 because I have to use those two weeks after to get my desk completely caught up before my cruise...WOOT!!!! And then miscellaneous Fridays in September, October and November. Ah, life is good. |

| 12:33 pm | Stu-uuu-uuck The pressure of picking days to take off is really starting to annoy me. I'm going to pick every other Friday during the summer months and see if the vultures haven't already grabbed them. I don't really care to take days off without having any plans, but dammit, I have to. I'll just have to make plans to do shit by myself on these days. I haven't been to the zoo, gardens, museums in a long while. In case you haven't noticed, I think this sucks big hairy donkey schlong. |

| 3:49 pm | I feel marginally better. By marginally I mean my throat isn't really bothering me, but I still feel snotty and have a headache. I am going to watch "The 'Burbs" on my comfy bed and possibly take a nap. Meh. |
| 11:08 am | I woke up not feeling too hot. The left side of my throat is sore, my head hurts and feels snotty. I'm hoping it's just my usual morning sinuses amplified by spending the whole day in a damp swimsuit. We shall see how I am in a few hours. Geh. |

| 9:05 pm | Well Dad came back from the wedding reception at 7:30p.m. That's what time it started wrapping up. Lame. IF I should ever get married, I want my reception to be a party that lasts late into the night/early morning. |
| 1:11 pm | Too sensitive My Dad is standing in a wedding today, so I was helping him with his tuxedo, the cuff links, the tie, suspenders, etc. He looked very handsome. I think today was the first time I've seen him in a tuxedo. My mind couldn't help but wander.....and then wonder if I will ever see him in a tuxedo again. Shake it off. |

| 4:51 pm | Well, last night I decided not to put the pool cover on the pool as I knew I would probably swim today and didn't want to mess with it again. Of course we had a thunderstorm last night, of course there is a bunch of shit in the pool now. Now, I need to hop in the pool and clean it as best as I can....because there is another thunderstorm on its way....I can see it. Hope I don't get struck by lightening. |
