    Time Event
    10:56p
    It Rained!

It rained finally! And though yesterday morning it rained just for a few minutes, last night it was like a storm had hit the city. Deafening thunder, quick lightning and buckets of rain (enough to erode the path outside a nearby building). All this happended between 3.30 and 6 am!

I was woken up by the rumbling thunder, which, till today, scares me. I don't know why. Last night, I was dying to peep out and see the rain pouring. But the sound of thunder kept me pinned to my bed, under the covers. Every time I heard the loud bang, my heart skipped a beat. But, like everything else, that too passed. :-)

After a long time I got hold of another Grisham book. Some may he's over-rated, some say he's awesome. Whatever it is, I like his work. And after Grisham, JRR Tolkien's on the list!

Outlook and India Today both have their cover stories this week as the PM's 'supposed' retirement, and the takeover by LK Advani. I expected both stories to be similar, repetitive and arriving at the same conclusions. Yet, they were completely different! Strange how two people have the same facts right in front of them, and have opposite interpretations. The human mind is very very complex, isn't it?

In a certain episode of Seinfeld:

Elaine: I will never understand people.

    Jerry: They're the worst.

Yup, you can never understand people! But you can learn, because life is a University of Lifelong Learning.
