Return from Hiatus! Nothing irritates me more than dumb people displaying their dumbness. And in the past few weeks, I encountered a number of examples of this ever-expanding breed.
Some of them- George Bush Jr., Tony Blair, the Indian (cricket) team, a couple of acquaintances... the list goes on. And there's nothing to stop them, of course.
Strangely enough, a couple of presumably dumb people showed how smart they really were. And I still can't get over the shock of hearing a 'philosophical' statement from such a person.
And that brings me back to one of my favourite mottos- You learn something new everyday! And as someone else might add (yet again!)- 'Welcome to the University of Lifelong Learning.'
Codey's outdone himself yet again. This blog entry by him got 59 comments! This is what happens when you're famous! ;-)
Mahesh is now campaigning "to save Indian news media from sacrilege". As a media student, his views put things in a different perspective.
Anita is now on holiday, though she does update her blog regularly.
And joining her is me, on a break from studies and thick reference books, pretty much at home (unlike Anita), and planning to blog religiously!
