[02 Dec 2009|01:50am] lipcrack So called the lawyer again today and the secretary gave me the number for the city office, however he wasn't there....so....basically this week while I wait for the receipt from Australia post I'm going to have to go into the law courts pick up some paperwork myself...and get back to the Professor, because he did actually offer some advice which I think is worth taking..and can't do much more than that...really...called the Dentist and she informed me that there would be no written quote, so I'd rather have a look around myself and see who I can find....and if I can't find anyone..well basically the solution I've got in there works, however it is not recompense for the damage done...which I shall pursue..until all options are exhausted.... I'm pretty shitty about it...who wouldn't be.....and life goes on.....received a document for one of the Uni's about a seminar this week...that's about it....currently looking at putting in a purchase for a hardware storage device...to cover the potential problems with storage space for the production...which believe it or not...is the next issue we face....it's going okay....however prices have gone up considerably. In the meantime...the purchase came through and I need to get that downloaded and installed.......there's a few more purchase orders to go out...and then that's it...I just want to get back to the production...before I go crazy....but the objective of making the site hopefully more interactive for others....might be achieved if things go well...and that's all I can say really. [30 Nov 2009|09:07pm] lipcrack So just did some last file checks.....at the moment I've substituted one incorrect file, so that I can determine that the log and error files are working correctly. In the process...made one change which I thought I should try...due to the fact that it seemed correct and it's updated some of the con figs...and produced a note indicating that some files had been changed...it mentioned that the site now pointed to an IP address...which I checked in the con figs of the central control panel and it matches up with the IP address...and interestingly now when I log onto the site...at the moment at least...it's pointing to Adelaide as the place where I'm visiting from which is correct. so I'm just a little dubious about a couple of things at the moment....because I have actually put a hidden file code in via another stat's company....and it's informing me of a pretty high bounce rate....which can be 1. Due to the site not containing information relevant to the search...but it can also indicate band width limiting which prevents site visitors accessing the site....I'm not sure what's going on there....however stats are not adding up....as they should...and at the moment....tech support at the hosting company..is trying to avoid..answering the questions I'm putting forward... so I'll ask them again....and I'll get that ready some time tonight...after I've had a shower, in about an hour. [30 Nov 2009|05:40pm] lipcrack So waiting for a processing order to go through....it's not something I'd normally buy in terms of software...because it's more like an electronic sound deck...and probably isn't the direction I want to be going in....however I could not pass up on the sale price for the weekend....basically going into a shop and buying an electronic synth....I'm up for at least $250....this thing comes with about 8 gig of sound sample ranges...including a lot of the early organ's...and a lot of new sound ranges...and for the price I got it for...(waiting for the order to process")... well it's going into a gelati shop and saying...I'd like a scoop of every flavor...and only paying for one.....(I kind of figure they were not expecting me to buy it before the weekend timed out...)..and although it's quite a bit of money...I really thought it was worth investing in that item... actually there's a couple that I think are worth it at the moment...but in terms of what I'm going to do with it...still remains to be seen....I've actually got a lot of gear to get done at the moment... (so the shopping spree is about to begin)....and meanwhile I haven't heard back from the lawyer...and I'm starting to get very suspicious about that. Pull out the paddle
