I have to thank
Robin for introducing me to some of these wonderful bands. Marked with a * if she introduced me. You ROCK ROBIN!!
10 songs/artists I've listened to today.*1.
Syd's album. It trips me out his song about a man leaving everything behind on the fourth of july weekend with no letter nothing, just gone. That is what my husband did.... it hit me in the gut. His music is one that I connect with infinitely and not just that song. His voice is like velvet.
Did an article on him for Amps 11.
*2.
Todd Martin "My Most Myself" (tears just pour when I listen to his raw lyrics) "Feeling Infinite" is trippy and fun.
3. Maxwell's album Embryo, I always pull back to this CD for inspiration of the lighter kind. I'm in a deep thinking analytically post-correction notion tonight... lots of words to say I'm in deep thought.
4.SOAD- BYOB , catchy and I hear it constantly on the radio but I just needed a pick me up.
5.Incubus -new and old stuff they are my favorite band they are a stick in my perma rotation.
6.
Jason Scavone and the Noises Ten Just did an interview /show with them and am just trying to keep the music fresh in my memory. Impressive display of many things with this band. I really enjoy the album and the new demos I have in my paws.
*7.
Patrick Davis his song "This Life" gives me goosebumps. One day I'll have that.
*8.
Tim Blane, man the pipes on this guy!?!
New to him, and the only person on this list I have not met in person, done a tour with, or interviewed. Look forward to that!9.
IN-V It's fun poppy punky music that I like to dance to. I'm excited that my first in print article is on these guys and they will be in my cd and concert rotation for sure.
